In 1880 the family farm included 53 acres of improved land and 25 acres of unimproved land. The total value including land, buildings, machinery and livestock was 2,400 dollars. Livestock included four horses, one mule, and three milk cows which produced 100 pounds of butter the previous year. The farm also included 5 additional cattle, 2 of which were slaughtered, 7 sheep which produced 20 pounds of fleece, 17 swine and 15 chickens which produced 60 eggs. During the previous year 12 acres of land were used to produce 250 bushels of indian corn, 5 acres were used to produce 30 bushels of rye, and 7 acres produced 87 bushels of wheat. Additional crop produced 5,260 pounds of tobacco. Three acres of land held 51 apple trees which produced 75 pounds of apples.

Funeral services were held on 23 July 1896 in Pleasant Grove Church, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 11:00 in the morning with the service conducted by Rev. J.F. Cashman and W.H. Dawson. Her cause of death was flux. She was buried on 23 July 1896 in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Philpot, Daviess County, Kentucky.
