     Robert Emmett Hite was born on 4 July 1867 in Daviess County, Kentucky, the son of Benona Hite and Sallie Jones. He married Anna May Kirk, daughter of James A Kirk and Elizabeth J Cottrell, in 1890. Robert Emmett Hite and Anna May (Kirk) Hite lived in April 1930 at Daviess County, Kentucky, on Millers Mill Road.

Robert Emmett Hite died on 22 March 1937 in Habit, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 69 at 11:00 in the morning. His cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried on 23 March 1937 in Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery, Habit, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Ada Ann Milton was born on 28 November 1872 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of James Milton and Mary Jane Harlen. Ada Ann Milton married Dr Aretaeus Kirk, son of Thomas Powel Kirk and Susan Florence Barnhill, on 7 February 1895 in Daviess County, Kentucky. Ada A (Milton) Kirk was widowed with the death of Dr Aretaeus Kirk on 18 October 1948 in Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

Ada A (Milton) Kirk died on 15 September 1951 in Owensboro Daviess County Hospital, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 78 at 9:40 in the evening. Her cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage. She was buried on 17 September 1951 in Elmwood-Rose Hill Cemetery, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Clintie Curtis was born in 1877 in Kentucky. She married James Coleman Kirk, son of John Leven Kirk and Sarah Adeline Stout, in 1902. Clintie (Curtis) Kirk was widowed with the death of James Coleman Kirk on 4 February 1935 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

Clintie (Curtis) Kirk died on 12 October 1958 in Fayette County, Kentucky.

     Joseph McCann Dawson was born on 4 January 1811 in Kentucky. He married Elizabeth Miller on 15 September 1835 in Daviess County, Kentucky. James went to the Daviess County Court on 14 March 1842 and petitioned the court to appoint Joseph M Dawson as his guardian in the place of James Lashbrook. The court approved the guardianship change based on a bond in the sum of $1,000.

Joseph McCann Dawson died on 15 February 1866 in Kentucky at age 55.

     Elizabeth Miller was born on 25 December 1814 in Kentucky. She married Joseph McCann Dawson on 15 September 1835 in Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Minnie Maxey was born on 4 June 1883 in Warren County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Warren Woodson Maxey and Cornelia Frances Shields. Minnie Maxey married John R Sweeney in 1900.

Minnie (Maxey) Sweeney died on 22 July 1911 in Warren County, Kentucky, at age 28. She was buried on 23 July 1911 in Highland Cemetery, Hadley, Kentucky.

     John R Sweeney was born in 1877. He married Minnie Maxey, daughter of Warren Woodson Maxey and Cornelia Frances Shields, in 1900.

     Elsie McGinnis was born on 13 April 1900 in Warren County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Egbert Lee McGinnis and Rena Deweese. Elsie McGinnis married (?) Anderson before 1918.

Elsie (McGinnis) Anderson died on 18 October 1918 in Rockfield, Warren County, Kentucky, at age 18. Her cause of death was pneumonia. She was buried on 19 October 1918 in Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, in Cemetery 1, Single Graves, Site 60-14.

     Leannah Leary Lee was born on 2 December 1760 in Prince William County, Virginia, the daughter of Stephen Lee and Anne Murphy. She married John J Lashbrooke, son of William Lashbrook and Mary Bridges, in 1777 in Prince William County, Virginia.

Leannah Leary (Lee) Lashbrook died on 23 July 1832 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 71. She was buried in Lashbrooke Cemetery, Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky.

     Jane Lashbrook was born on 10 July 1783 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee. Jane Lashbrook married George Grant Jr on 24 October 1811. George and Jane had at least four children including Stephen Lee Grant who was born in 1815 and died in 1883, John Lashbrooke Grant who was born in 1819 and died in 1898, Letitia Lee Grant who was born in 1823 and died in 1892 and Elizabeth Grancis Grant, who married a Killpatrick and was born in 1826 and also died in 1892.

Jane (Lashbrook) Grant died on 12 June 1835 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 51. She was buried in Lashbrooke Cemetery, Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky.

     George Grant Jr married Jane Lashbrook, daughter of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee, on 24 October 1811. George and Jane had at least four children including Stephen Lee Grant who was born in 1815 and died in 1883, John Lashbrooke Grant who was born in 1819 and died in 1898, Letitia Lee Grant who was born in 1823 and died in 1892 and Elizabeth Grancis Grant, who married a Killpatrick and was born in 1826 and also died in 1892.

     Stephen Lashbrooke was born in 1791 in Mason County, Kentucky. He was the son of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee.

Stephen Lashbrooke died on 1 December 1813 in Mason County, Kentucky. He was buried in Lee Cemetery, Mason County, Kentucky.

     Melinda Lashbrooke was born on 14 July 1786 in Mason County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee. Melinda Lashbrooke married John Winslow Parker on 28 January 1812 in Mason County, Kentucky. John and Melinda had at least nine children including Leannah Parker, Nancy Dudley Parker, Mary Winslow Parker, John L. Parker, Peter Lee Parkerr, William B. Parker, Elizabeth Jane Parker, and Martha Agnes Parker.

Melinda Lashbrooke died on 30 April 1878 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 91. She was buried in Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky.

     William Lashbrooke was born on 13 November 1787 in Virginia. He was the son of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee. William Lashbrooke married Margaret Preston on 9 February 1814 in Mason County, Kentucky.

William Lashbrooke died on 30 April 1836 in Mason County, Virginia, at age 48. He was buried in Lashbrooke Cemetery, Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky.

     Margaret Preston was born circa 1792. She married William Lashbrooke, son of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee, on 9 February 1814 in Mason County, Kentucky.

Margaret Preston died on 8 April 1863 in Mason County, Kentucky.

     Nancy Lashbrook was born on 6 July 1789 in Virginia. She was the daughter of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee.

Nancy Lashbrook died on 11 February 1864 in Maysville, Mason County, Virginia, at age 74. She was buried in Lashbrooke Cemetery, Maysville, Mason County, Missouri.

     Peter Lee Lashbrooke was born on 13 November 1792 in Mason County, Kentucky. He was the son of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee. Peter was a soldier in the war of 1812. He joined Captain Ward's Company in 1814 and served for ninety days. At the close of the war he engaged in farming and speculating.

Peter Lee Lashbrooke married Mary Morton on 30 October 1822 in Mason County, Kentucky. Peter Lee Lashbrooke was widowed with the death of Mary (Morton) Lashbrook on 8 April 1829 in Kentucky.

Peter Lee Lashbrooke married Frances B. (Morton) Sandidge on 24 November 1830 in Mason County, Kentucky. Peter was a member of the constiututional convention in 1849 and a member of the legislature for three terms. He also held various offices of trust in his native county. After a life devoted to the welfare of his county and state he settled quietly on his farm as the age of 86.

Peter Lee Lashbrooke left a will on 27 July 1879 at Mason County, Kentucky, with the original will date written by Peter as 9 August 1879 apparently in error. The witnesses signed on 27 July 1879, which was said to be the actual date of the will. There is a deposition on record involving wittnesses and Peter's son Samual attesting to the date error. It is, however, interesting that a subsequent codicil written by Peter was also dated 9 August 1881. His will was extensive. Peter stated that he was anxious to determine the best provision for the comfort of his aging wife in her old age. Since his estate was not large, and he had a large family, he directed that his children, not including his Grandson Edward L. Lashbrooke, son of his deceased son Edward) were to secure to his wife four hundred dollars per annum to be paid to her two hundred dollars every six months during her life. Each of his children were to pay an equal share of this son except for John Robert and Frances who were allotted a different percentage. Peter alsoleft such articlesof household and kitchen furniture of every description that she wished to have.

Peter then stated that his sons Thomas and James were to each receive the sum mof five hundred dollars in consideration of their management of his place. They were also to receive one bedstead, bed and bedding along with one cow and calf to be selected by each of them. They were also to receive any profits from the cultivation and disposal of any crops that might remain on the farm at the time of his death.

After the satisfaction of the requirements stated previously, and the settlement of all depts, Peter left one ninth part in value of his estate to be evenly divided between heach of his three sons Samuel, Thomas,andJames and their heirs. One ninth part was then to go to his daughter Frances and any descendants she might choose.

His will then provided extensive instructions on the division of the remainder of his estate between other children and their wives and husbands as well as grandchildren. He named his sons Thomas, James, and Samuel along with hisson-in-law Isaac Van Arsdale to be the executors of his will.

Peter Lee Lashbrooke wrote a codicil on 9 August 1882 at Mason County, Kentucky, changing some of the stipulations for his grandson Edward Lashbrooke. He also provided for the disposal of his tobacco barn and the land on which it stood to be given for the use of his sons Thomas and James so long as they desire and that they were to give their brother John Robert the privilage of its use also. When they no longer desired to use the barn it, along with the land, was to be sold and the proceeds divided equally between his eight children and his grandson Edward.

Peter Lee Lashbrooke died on 2 September 1882 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 89. He was buried in Lashbrooke Cemetery, Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky. His estate was probated on 11 September 1882 at Mason County, Kentucky.

     Mary Lashbrook was born in 1795 in Mason County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee. Mary Lashbrook married William E. Seddan on 9 March 1833 in Mason County, Kentucky.

Mary Lashbrook died on 30 July 1875 in Mason County, Kentucky. She was buried in Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky.

     Deborah Lashbrook was born on 6 September 1795 in Mason County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John J Lashbrooke and Leannah Leary Lee. Deborah Lashbrook married Thomas Montjoy on 10 April 1826 in Mason County, Kentucky. Thomas and Deborah had at least three children including Anna Lee Montjoy, William L. Montjoy, and George Morton Montjoy.

Deborah Lashbrook died on 4 February 1857 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 61.

     Russell Sarver was born on 9 November 1911. He was the son of Edward Sarver and Minnie Downs (?)
