     Anna Lilia Connor was born on 26 January 1869 in Henrico County, Virginia, the daughter of James Connor from Ireland and Bettie Franklin from Henrico County, Virginia. She married John G Wade, son of Luzbyth H Wade and Josephine S Cottrell, on 31 December 1884 in Henrico County, Virginia.

     Earl Reed Cade was born on 25 September 1922 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. He was the son of William Earl Cade and Mary Reed White. Earl Reed Cade lived with William Earl Cade and Mary Reed (White) Cade in April 1930 at 312 Tarboro Street, Rocky Mount, Edgecombe County, North Carolina. Earl Reed Cade began military service on 31 January 1943 in Miama Beach, Florida, as a private in the Air Corps Reserves. He married Sarah Bruce McAfee on 5 December 1954 in Nash County, North Carolina. Earl Reed Cade was widowed with the death of Sarah Bruce McAfee on 2 May 1979 in General Hospital, Durham, Durham County, North Carolina.

     Emmett Byrd Burton was born on 18 August 1883 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of John B Burton and Emma D Hunter. He married Ada Lea Snyde around 1906. She was born on 24 January 1888 in Owensboro and died on 15 July 1936 in Fayette County, Kentucky from congestive heart failure and was buried in the Elmwood Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. She was listed as “separated” on her death certificate and had been employed as a sales lady at the J.C. Penny Company. They apparently had no children. Ada was the daughter of William L. Snyde and Tilly Lan. Emmett died in March 1958 in Pinellas County, Florida.

     Ludwell Hunter Burton was born on 28 August 1886 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of John B Burton and Emma D Hunter. Ludwell Hunter Burton was described as tall, medium build, blue eyes, and brown hair in September 1918. He registered for the draft for World War I on 19 September 1918, while living at Utica, Daviess County, Kentucky, reporting he was employed as a farmer. He lived in January 1920 at Whitesville, Daviess County, Kentucky, on a farm on the Hartford and Owensboro Roads. Ludwell married Mary R. Lama. She was born on 28 February 1886 in Berry County, Indiana, died on 3 August 1946 in Warrick County, Indiana, and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Indiana. Mary had previously been married to George Gesse and had at least three children with George including Clara M. Gasse, James E. Gasse, and Charles Gasse. According to the 1940 census Hunter and Mary had at least two children including Margaret Burton, and Ann Belle Burton. He registered for the draft for World War II on 27 April 1942, while living at Boonville, Warrick County, Indiana, reporting he was employed as farmer. He was five feet eleveen inches tall, weighed 170 pounds, had blue eyes, brown hair, and a light compexionat the time.

     Miriam Ward was born on 7 November 1813 in Daviess County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John Ward and Polly McKinney. Miriam Ward married James A Burton, son of Allen Burton and Rebecca Hamner, on 8 May 1849 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at the Methodist Episcopal Church by the Rev. A.H. Triplett.

Miriam (Ward) Burton died on 3 July 1877 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 63. She was buried in James A Burton Family Cemetery, Masonville, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     George W Burton was born on 29 October 1851 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of James A Burton and Miriam Ward. A bond for the marriage of George W Burton and Mary Ann Veatch was signed on 18 February 1882 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, by Geo W Burton and R.W. Veatch in the sum of One Hundred Dollars. George W Burton married Mary Ann Veatch on 21 February 1882 in Daviess County, Kentucky, by B.Y. Bundiff at the home of Miss Nancy McCormics.

George W Burton died on 4 December 1927 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 76. He was buried in James A Burton Family Cemetery, Masonville, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Hazel Wood Whittaker was born on 6 October 1918 in Ohio County, Kentucky. She married Earnest Gardner Lashbrook, son of Henry Lashbrook and Carrie Elnora Bruner, on 30 March 1940 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Hazel Wood (Whittaker) Lashbrook died on 30 August 1996 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 77. Funeral services were held on 3 September 1996 in Glenn Funderal Home Chapel, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 10:00 in the morning. She was buried on 3 September 1996 in Elmwood-Rose Hill Cemetery, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Martha Elvira Birkhead was born on 17 November 1826 in Nelson County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Reuben Wesley Birkhead and Nancy Foreman. Her mother's second husband James Lashbrook was appointed as her guardian and the guardian for her infant brothers and sisters by the Court of Daviess County, Kentucky on 11 November 1839 following the death of her father Wesley Birkhead. She married Henry Henson Bea in Ohio County, Kentucky on 4 March 1844. He was born on 18 September 1816 in Sulphur Springs in Ohio County and died on 28 November 1851 in Ohio County and was buried in Bean Cemetery in Sulphur Springs. Henry was the son of Leonard Bea and Sarah Boswel. After Henry’s death Martha married Leonard Crawford on 3 October 1856 in Butler County, Kentucky. According to census records Martha and Henry had at least three children including Sarah Bea, Henry Bea, Lucy Minerva Bea and Irona Bea and Martha and Leonard had at least one child named Samuel Crawford.

     Thomas Wesley Birkhead was born on 8 March 1837 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of Reuben Wesley Birkhead and Nancy Foreman. His mother's second husband James Lashbrook was appointed as his guardian and the guardian for his infant brothers and sisters by the Court of Daviess County, Kentucky on 11 November 1839 following the death of his father Wesley Birkhead. Thomas Wesley Birkhead married Mary Ann Nelson, daughter of William Nelson and Elizabeth Westerfield, in 1860.

Thomas Wesley Birkhead died on 13 July 1908 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 71 at 9:15 in the morning at his home in the Dermont neighborhood after an illness of only one week. Funeral services were held on 14 July 1908 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at 5:00 in the afternoon at the residence of the deceased in the Dermot neighborhood. There was a large attendance of friends at the service. His cause of death was complication of diseases. He was buried on 14 July 1908 in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Philpot, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Catherine Foreman Birkhead was born on 23 November 1831 in Daviess County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Reuben Wesley Birkhead and Nancy Foreman. Her mother's second husband James Lashbrook was appointed as her guardian and the guardian for her infant brothers and sisters by the Court of Daviess County, Kentucky on 11 November 1839 following the death of her father Wesley Birkhead.

Catherine Foreman Birkhead died in 1888 in Ohio County, Kentucky.

     James Morrison Birkhead was born on 2 September 1824 in Nelson County, Kentucky. He was the son of Reuben Wesley Birkhead and Nancy Foreman. His mother's second husband James Lashbrook was appointed as his guardian and the guardian for his infant brothers and sisters by the Court of Daviess County, Kentucky on 11 November 1839 following the death of his father Wesley Birkhead. On 14 March 1842 James petitioned the Daviess County, Kentucky Court to appoint Joseph M. Dawson as his guardian in the place of James Lashbrook. James went to the Daviess County Court on 14 March 1842 and petitioned the court to appoint Joseph M Dawson as his guardian in the place of James Lashbrook. The court approved the guardianship change based on a bond in the sum of $1,000. James Morrison Birkhead married Miranda Barnwell Cottrell, daughter of Reuben Cottrell and Sarah Homer Patman, on 26 June 1844 in Daviess County, Kentucky. Laura Ann Birkhead petitioned the Daviess County Court on 9 November 1846 to appoint James M Burkhead as her guardian in the place of James B Lashbrook. The court approved the change. On 9 November 1846 Laura Ann petitioned the Court of Daviess County, Kentucky to appoint James Morrison Birkhead as her guardian. The petition was approved by the Court.

James Morrison Birkhead died on 8 June 1862 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 37. He was buried in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Dermont, Daviess County, Kentucky.
