Guss Taylor died on 22 May 1953 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 77 at 10:17 in the evening at a convalescent home. He was buried on 25 May 1953 in Elmwood-Rose Hill Cemetery, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Elbert Ware was born on 2 March 1882 in Kentucky. He was the son of Iverson Joseph Ware and Sarah Hannah Robinson. Elbert Ware married Eva Jane Bristow, daughter of Hyram S Bristow and Minerva P Kirk, on 31 January 1901.

Elbert Ware died on 14 July 1935 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 53 at 7:30 in the evening at his home in Habit. Funeral services were held on 16 July 1935 in Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery, Habit, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 3:00 in the afternoon with the Rev. Mr. Laswell in charge.
