Wendell was likely well known to the Bowling Green police department as there were quite a few newspaper articles in the Park City Daily News where he was involved in altercations with others, sometimes being charged with assault, other times being cut during what seems to have been a fight, having his own property stolen including a truck and guns, drunk driving, and being charged with grand larceny in 1962 for several burglaries.

Corinne V (Schupbach) Lashbrook and Roy Bean Lashbrook lived in 1959 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, at 2011 NW 27th Street. Roy and Corrine had one son named Robert B Lashbrook. Robert and his wife Virginia were still living at the time of Roy's death in 1994. Corinne Victoria Schupbach was widowed with the death of Roy Bean Lashbrook on 5 May 1994 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

     Mary Jane Mathes was born on 4 December 1839 in Indiana. She was the daughter of John Mathes and Permelia Stevens. Mary married William H. H. Hudson. They had at least nine children including John Yancy, born in 1861; Florence P, born in 1863; Cora, born in 1866; Maudie, born in1868; James, born in 1872; Hattie Louella, born in 1874; Harry T, born in 1876; Letticia Eleanor, born in 1879; and Lydia M, born in 1881. Mary Jane Mathes married William H H Hudson in 1860.

Mary Jane Mathes died on 4 October 1926 in Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois, at age 86. She was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Corydon, Harrison County, Indiana.

     Eli Howard Mathes was born on 18 December 1848. He was the son of John Mathes and Permelia Stevens. Eli married Elmira Isadora Mauk. Mable (Ellen) Penner left a will on 8 March 1974 at Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, directing that the survivor, after just debts and funeral expenses are paid, receive all the rest of property, real, personal or mixed. The will also directed that if both should die simultaneously that one-half of their estate go to Bonnie W Baird, Willie's cousin with the other half going to several individually named Cox and Penner relatives. She was widowed with the death of William H Penner on 11 February 1990 in Warren County, Kentucky. Mable Ellen left a will on 3 December 1990 at Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, stating that she was a widow, single, and had no children living or dead. The will directed that $1,000, but in no event more than 10 percent of her net estate, be given to her husband's cousin, Connie Beard, that 10 percent (no more than $3,000) be equally distributed to her friends Patrick Garrity and Timothy Garrity, and then listing other various entities and friends for the remainder of her estate.
