     Sarah J Lemon was born on 17 October 1840 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Joseph C Lemon and Zarilda Jane Robards. Sarah J Lemon was also known as Sallie. She married William T Cottrell, son of James P Cottrell and Martha Elizabeth Stipe, on 20 December 1866 in Lewis County, Missouri.

Sarah J Lemon died in February 1908 in Lewis County, Kentucky, at age 67. She was buried in Marks Cemetery, La Grange, Lewis County, Missouri.

     Dorcan Cottrell was born in October 1868 in Lewis County, Missouri. She was the daughter of William T Cottrell and Sarah J Lemon. As of 1886, Dorcan Cottrell was also known as Darcie. She married Robert B Muir on 25 March 1886. Darcie (Cottrell) Muir was widowed with the death of Robert B Muir before 1900.
