Reynold on 31 January 1876 in Daviess County. He was born on 12 December 1848 in Daviess County and was the son of Joshua J. Reynold and Susan Lanha. Laura died on 20 June 1886 in Daviess County and was buried in the Old Lashbrook Cemetery in Browns Valley in Daviess County. Thomas married a second time to Mary Etta Harralso. Thomas died on 22 February 1893 in Daviess County. Mary Etta delivered a son named Thomas Roger Reynold on 13 November 1893 exactly eight months and twenty-two days after the death of her husband Thomas. It is assumed this was his son. Thomas was buried in Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Beech Grove in McLean County, Kentucky. Laura and Thomas had at least two children including Leslie Reynold who was a son, and Bertha Reynolds.

Laura Lashbrook died on 20 June 1886 in Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 32.

He lived with William Edmund Lashbrook in April 1930 at Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 1604 Freemont Street. James attended the Owensboro College and Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky in his early years. He was a charter member of the Third Baptist Church and for 20 years was auditor of the American Tobacco Company. He later worked with the Short Brothers Motor Company and the F.A. Ames Company. In the later years of his life he was connected with the Lashbrook Realty Company.

James Yewell Bottorf died on 22 April 1958 in Daviess County Hospital, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 77 at 6:00 in the evening. His cause of death was pneumonia. He married Anne Davis (Robertson) Gilmore on 29 August 1874 in Sumner County, Tennessee. James William Gilmore was widowed with the death of Anne Davis Robertson on 16 February 1914 in Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee.

James William Gilmore died on 7 May 1922 in Elkton, Todd County, Kentucky, at age 67. His cause of death was cirrhosis of the liver. James death certificate listed him as married rather than widowed. This is likely an error because no marriage records are found other than his marriage in 1874 and his final resting place was next to Anne. He was buried in Gallatin City Cemetery, Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee.
