John married Telitha Stallings in February 1838 and they had one child named James Stewart. After Telitha died he married Martha Cottrell in 1843. Martha was born on 11 April 1819 and died on 19 September 1910. John and Martha were both buried in Sandy Hill Cemetery in Ekron in Meade County, Kentucky. John and Martha had at least eight children including James Stewaret, Dorthula Stewart, Isabell Stewart, Mary Stewart, John Stewart, Effie Stewart, Joseph Russel Stewart, Elizabeth Stewart, and Robert Stewart.

     John Lashbrooks was born on 25 December 1794 in Washington County, North Carolina. He was the son of William J. Lashbrooks and Dorothy Dolly Crecelius. John Lashbrooks married Easther Hetty Hopkins on 22 June 1814 in Harrison County, Indiana.

John Lashbrooks died on 4 November 1887 in French Lick, Orange County, Indiana, at age 92.

     Elizabeth Lashbrook was born circa 1796 in Harrison, Indiana. She was the daughter of William J. Lashbrooks and Dorothy Dolly Crecelius. Elizabeth married James Rodi on 30 May 1814 in Harrison County, Indiana. James was the administrator for the estate of Elizabeth’s father William in 1820 which would indicate they were still living in Orange County at the time. James secured approximately seventy eight acres of land from the Crawfordsville Land Office on 3 September 1834. He was living in Morgan County at the time. The plot of land was described as the East half of the South East quarter of Section Seven in Township Eleven North of Range One East in the district of Lands subject to sale at Crawfordsville, Indiana containing seventy eight acres and eighty-two hundredths of an acre. Elizabeth may have died on 4 November 1887 in Orange County, Indiana.

     John Lashbrooks was born on 6 June 1803 in Henry County, Kentucky. He was the son of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. John married Nancy Jennings Ring on 9 August 1826 in Spencer County, Kentucky. His name was written on the marriage record as “Lashbrooks” and appears with the “s” on many of the records. Nancy was born on 16 September 1811 in Kentucky. John died on 26 April 1881 in Indiana, likely Scott County. Family lore is that he burned to death while firing broom grass on their farm. Nancy died about five years later on 1 July 1886. They were both buried in Hopewell Cemetery in Vienna in Scott County, Indiana. John and Nancy had at least twelve children including John Thomas Lashbrook, Elizabeth Ann Lashbrooks, Nancy Jane Lashbrook, Amanda M. Lashbrook, Louisa Adeline Lashbrook, Samuel A. Lashbrook, James W. Lashbrook, Susan May Lashbrook, Sarah Mariah Lashbrook, Lucinda C. Lashbrook, Jeffery Franklin Lashbrook, and Clara Isabelle Lashbrook.

John Lashbrooks died on 26 April 1881 in Scott County, Indiana, at age 77. He was buried in Hope Cemetery, Scott County, Indiana.

     Clarissa Lashbrook was born on 20 October 1806 in Shelby County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. She married James Gilmore Wyli on 25 March 1823 in Spencer County, Indiana. James was born on 8 October 1804 and died on 27 October 1880. He was buried in Salem Cemetery in Center in Ralls County, Missouri. Clarissa died in 1873. Ralls County was one of several counties on the Mississippi River settled primarily by migrants from Kentucky and Tennessee who brought slaves and slaveholding traditions with them. After Clarissa died James married Adazilla Jone who was born on 3 October 1847 and died on 22 June 1919. James left a will in on 19 September 1878 appointing his wife Adazilla as executor along with his son George W. Wyli to assist her in managing the settlement. He essentially left all of his estate to Adazilla with the stipulation that if she re-married she was to be entitled to one-third of his estate with the remainder reverting back to his heirs. Adazilla married Edwin Hubbar on 1 December 1881 in Ralls County, Missouri, less than two months after the death of James.

Clarissa Lashbrook died on 15 March 1873 in Home Madisonville Ralls, Ralls County, Missouri, at age 66. Clarissa and James had at least twelve children including Linda Mira Wylie, Amanda Melvina Fitzallen Wylie, Madison Wright Wylie, Pleasant Cox Wylie, Sarah Ann Elizabeth Wylie, Mary Martha Wylie, Louisa Theodosia Wylie, George Washington Bird Wylie, Laura Lucille Wylie, Thomas Jefferson Wylie, James Wylie, and Emma Belinda Wylie.

     Mildred Ann Lashbrook was born on 22 February 1808 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. Mildred married Harrison E. Mitchel on 24 February 1829 in Scott County, Indiana. Harrison was born on 26 February 1807 in Kentucky and died on 19 February 1863. He was the son of John Mitchel and Elizabeth Ashle. They were both buried in Estil Cemetery. According to census records Mildred and Harrison had at least five children including John T. Mitchel, Maria Mitchel, Angeline Mitchel, Amanda Mitchel, and Mary E. Mitchell. Mildred Ann Lashbrook was buried in Estil Cemetery.

Mildred Ann Lashbrook died on 31 October 1892 in Scott County, Indiana, at age 84.

     Louisa Lashbrook was born on 14 June 1810 in Shelby County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. Louisa Lashbrook married William Hunter Galbreath in May 1830 in Scott County, Indiana.

Louisa (Lashbrook) Galbreath died on 20 March 1899 in Ashmore, Coles County, Illinois, at age 88. She was buried in Mitchell Cemetery.

     Malinda Lashbrook was born on 15 January 1811. She was the daughter of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. Malinda Lashbrook married William McAdams on 23 March 1829 in Scott County, Indiana. According to census records Malinda and William likely had at least seven children including Alexander T. McAdam, William McAdam, Elizabeth A. McAdam, Mary J. McAdam, Samuel McAdam, Melinda E. McAdam, and Louis A. McAdams.

Malinda Lashbrook died on 20 March 1875 in Scott County, Indiana, at age 64. She was buried in Bridgewater Cemetery.

     Lucinda Lashbrook was born on 23 October 1814 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. She married William Ardrey who was born in 1810 in Ireland and died on 29 April 1882. Lucindia and William had at least nine children including Alexander T. Ardrey, John Ardrey, Robert Ardrey, James M. Ardrey, William G. Ardrey, Gedeon Longstreet Ardrey, Mary E. Ardrey, Samuel S. Ardrey, and George W. Ardrey.

Lucinda Lashbrook died on 1 November 1876 in Ralls County, Missouri, at age 62. She was buried in Salem Cemetery, Ralls County, Missouri.

     Thomas Lashbrook Jr was born in 1815 in Spencer County, Kentucky. He was the son of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. He married Rachel Bate on 7 June 1843 in Washington County, Indiana. Thomas and Rachel separated after they had a daughter named Elizabeth Catherine Lashbroo. Thomas married Mary Worral on 24 February 1856 in Jeffersonville in Clark County, Indiana. Mary was born in 1830 and died in 1918. She was buried in Mount Cemetery in Johnson Township in Clark County. Thomas and Mary had at least eight children including Sarah Lucinda Lashbrook, Daniel Lewis Lashbrook, John Thomas Lashbrook, George W. Lashbrook, James G. Lashbrook, Ida May Lashbrook, Sophia A. Lashbrook, and May Ollie Lashbrook.

     George W Lashbrook was born in 1818 in Spencer County, Kentucky. He was the son of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. He married Nancy Galbreat on 12 March 1840 in Coles County, Illinois. Nancy was born in 1824 in Scott County, Illinois and died on 5 May 1886 in Ashmore Township in Coles County. She was the daughter of John Galbreat and Polly Ann Keit. It is possible that both George and Nancy were buried in the Mitchell Cemetery in Ashmore. However, there are no headstones to confirm either burial. In 1860 George owned a farm in Ashmore in Coles County that contained 40 acres of improved land and 40 acres of unimproved land valued at $800. Farm implements and machinery on the farm were valued at $60. There were 21 horses, 21 milk cows, two other cows, four sheep and four swine with a total value of livestock of $200. The farm produced 20 bushels of wheat and 400 bushels of oats. By 1870 his farm contained 28 acres of improved land, and 52 acres of unimproved land and the value of the farm had increased to $2,400. There were two horses, and four swine valued at $200 and the farm produced 30 bushels of rye and 300 bushels of Indian corn. Forty three pounds of wool were produced along with 39 pounds of hops, and 27 gallons of molasses. Fifty dollars’ worth of animals were slaughtered or sold to slaughter and the total value of all farm production was listed as $105. George and Nancy had at least five children including Maria Ellen Lashbrook, Clarinda Lashbrook, Thomas Jarrett Lashbrook, James Lashbrook, and Rebecca Jane Lashbrook.

George W Lashbrook died in 1893 in Coles County, Illinois. He was buried in Patsey Mitchell Cemetery.

     Gideon Walker Lashbrook was born on 14 June 1826 in Kentucky. He was the son of Thomas Lashbrook and Elizabeth Elliott. . He married Anna Marie Moor who was born on 14 February 1834 and died on 18 April 1915. They were both buried in Barkley Cemetery in New London in Ralls County. According to census records Gideon and Anna had at least two children including John W. Lashbrook and Ida May Lashbrook.

Gideon Walker Lashbrook died on 6 April 1913 in Ralls County, Missouri, at age 86 at 1:00 in the afternoon. His cause of death was cancer.

     Marsham Brashear was born circa 1752 in Prince George County, Maryland. He was the son of Benjamin Brashear VII and Catherine Belt. Marsham Brashear married Lucy Phelps in 1779 in Bear Grass, Jefferson County, Kentucky. Marsham was one of the original settlers of Jefferson County, Kentucky. He was also one of the signers of a petition entitled "An Act for Establishing the Town of Louisville at the Falls of the Ohio" which was passed on 1 May 1780 by the Legislature of Virginia. The act also established Marsham as one of the trustees of the land whcih consisted of 1000 acres, originally the property of John Connolly, adjoining the lands of John Campbell and unidentified Taylor. On 7 February 1781 Marsham, along with the other trustees of the property which formed Louisville, held their first meeting.

Marsham Brashear died circa 1807 in Kentucky.

     Lucy Phelps was born in July 1760 in Campbell County, Virginia. She married Marsham Brashear, son of Benjamin Brashear VII and Catherine Belt, in 1779 in Bear Grass, Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Lucy Phelps died on 18 June 1854 in Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky, at age 93.

     Martha Patricia Brashear was born in 1796 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Marsham Brashear and Lucy Phelps. Martha Patricia Brashear married Samuel V Lashbrook, son of William Lashbrooke and Epha Effy Ethelridge, on 27 August 1815 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. Martha Patricia Brashear also went by the name of Patty, Patsy, and Polly.

Martha Patricia (Brashear) Lashbrook died in 1874 in Daviess County, Kentucky. She was buried in Lashbrook Family Cemetery, Browns Valley, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Grayson F Lashbrook was born on 4 September 1816 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. He was the son of Samuel V Lashbrook and Martha Patricia Brashear. A bond for the marriage of Grayson F Lashbrook and an unknown person was signed on 13 August 1838 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He married Emily Forman, daughter of Thomas Foreman and Martha Patricia Yewell, on 15 August 1838 in Daviess County, Kentucky. Grayson F Lashbrook married Martha Ann Street on 3 September 1863 in Indiana.

     Wickliffe Charles Lashbrook was born on 6 October 1820 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. He was the son of Samuel V Lashbrook and Martha Patricia Brashear. Wickliffe Charles Lashbrook married Lydia Charlotte Stevens on 26 August 1856 at Ohio County, Kentucky, by G.F. Harrison.

Wickliffe Charles Lashbrook appeared on the 1880 census, agricultural schedule of Murry Precinct, Daviess County, Kentucky; as owner of a farm that included 77 acres of improved land and 25 acres of unimproved land. The total value including land, buildings, machinery and livestock was 1,320 dollars. Livestock included three horses and three milk cows which produced 150 pounds of butter the previous year. The farm also included 10 swine and 50 chickens which produced 200 eggs. During the previous year 15 acres of land were used to produce 300 bushels of indian corn, 3 acres were used to produce 40 bushels of oats, and 6 acres produced 107 bushels of wheat. Additional crop produced 4,000 pounds of tobacco. Three acres of land held 16 apple trees and bee hives which produced 200 pounds of honey.

Wickliffe Charles Lashbrook died on 20 January 1896 at Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 75 after an illness of about two weeks. He was buried in Lashbrook Family Cemetery, Browns Valley, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Reason D Lashbrook was born on 18 December 1822 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of Samuel V Lashbrook and Martha Patricia Brashear. Reason D Lashbrook married Elizabeth Ann Prather on 4 October 1853 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. Reason and Ann had at least five children including Martha Jane Lashbrook, Otilla D. Lashbrook, Electa Hester Lashbrook, Reason Amos Lashbrook, and Dora Ella Lashbrook. Reason D Lashbrook married Rosa Prather on 21 March 1864. Reason and Rosa had at least three children including Levi Scott Lashbrook, Samuel Leonard Lashbrook, and Mary Ella Lashbrook. Reason D Lashbrook married Martha Jane Graham on 6 November 1879 in Mason County, Kentucky. Reason and Jane had at least five children inclduing Graham Lashbrook, Elbert T. Lashbrook, Margaret Ethel Lashbrook, Charles Oscar Lashbrook, and Grace Darling Lashbrook.

Reason D Lashbrook died in 1896 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was buried in Conrey Cemetery.

     Samuel B Lashbrook was born on 14 May 1825 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of Samuel V Lashbrook and Martha Patricia Brashear. Samuel B Lashbrook married Altha J Stevens on 20 May 1852 in Kentucky. Samuel B Lashbrook was widowed with the death of Altha J (Stevens) Lashbrook on 13 April 1855 in Daviess County, Kentucky.

Samuel B Lashbrook was widowed with the death of Missouri D (Prather) Lashbrook on 2 January 1878 in Kentucky.
