William owned and operated Horn's Market before retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a graduate of Lockyear Business College in Evansville, Indiana, and a member of Owensboro Lodge No. 130 F&AM and Scottish Rite.

William Thomas Horn died on 12 September 1986 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 80 at his home at 1421 West 12th Street. Funeral services were held on 15 September 1986 in James H. Davis Funeral Home, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 10:00 in the norming. He was buried in Elmwood-Rose Hill Cemetery, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.

     Eula K Horn was born in 1898 in Daviess County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Porter N Horn and Estella Birkhead. Eula married Riley Cannon and was living in Owensboro at the time of her mother's death.
