Nathaniel M Gilmore was described as tall, slender build, brown eyes, and dark hair in June 1917. He registered for the draft for World War I on 17 June 1917, while living at Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, reporting he was employed as telegraph operator for the L.N. Railroad Company. He and Milded H (Brashear) Gilmore lived in January 1920 at Warren County, Kentucky, at 540 Park Street in Bowling Green. Nathaniel M Gilmore was widowed with the death of Milded H (Brashear) Gilmore on 9 April 1920 in Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky. Nathaniel M Gilmore married Lucy F Meguiar in 1921. Minnie C (Myers) McGinnis and Walter Brashear McGinnis lived in April 1940 at Chillicothe, Missouri.
