He married Hester Morgan in 1908. Charles Edward Miller was described as medium height, medium build with brown eyes and brown hair in September 1918. He registered for the draft for World War I on 12 September 1918, while living at Morgan, Middlesex County, New Jersey, reporting he was employed as a carpenter foreman for J.A. Gillespie. He and Hester (Morgan) Miller lived in January 1920 at Dumfries, Prince William County, Virginia, on Fifth Avenue. Charles Edward Miller and Hester (Morgan) Miller lived in April 1930 at Marysville City Village, St. Clair County, Michigan, at 576 St. James Street. Charles Edward Miller registered for the draft for World War II on 27 April 1942, while living at Huron, St. Clair, Michigan, reporting he was employed as as an employee at the Maysville Power House.

Funeral services were held on 29 July 1996 in James H Davis Funeral Home, Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at 11:30 in the morning.      Charles Freddie Lashbrook was born on 14 August 1939 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of Guy W Lashbrook and Geneva Carden. Freddie, whose full name was Charles F, married and had a son named Shannon.

Charles Freddie Lashbrook died on 26 March 1973 in Caldwell County Hospital, Princeton, Caldwell County, Kentucky, at age 33 shortly after he was beaten with a blunt instrument in the afternoon at the Kentucky State Penitentiary where he was serving a 26 year sentence. Penitentiary Supt. Henry Cowan said Guards had found Charles fighting with other inmates in the recreation area of the prison. When guards arrived on the scene, about 200 other inmates dispersed and they found Charles injured. He later died of the injuries.

Hazel (Kahn) Hooker and Herbert Macon Hooker lived on 11 April 1930 at Richmond, Independent City (Richmond), Virginia, at 101 Lancaster Road. In 1940 Mattie M Pettaway, a long time resident in the Hooker home, died and was burried in the Hooker Family Plot in Maury Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia. Her gravestone is located in the back part of the plot directly behind Hazel. Hazel (Kahn) Hooker and Herbert Macon Hooker lived in April 1940 at Richmond, Independent City (Richmond), Virginia, at 101 Laueaster Road.

Hazel Kahn died on 14 February 1976 in Eastern State Hospital, Williamsburg, Virginia, at age 86 at 3:15 in the afternoon. Her cause of death was cardiac arrest. She was buried on 18 February 1976 in Maury Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia, in the A.R. Hooker family plot.
