     Nancy Cottrell was born on 26 September 1815 in Shelby County, Kentucky, the daughter of Richard Cottrell and Anna Clarke. She was the daughter of Richard Cottrell and Anna Clarke.

Nancy Cottrell married William S Floyd in July 1838.

Nancy (Cottrell) Floyd died on 9 January 1885 in Kentucky at age 69.

     Shepard Cottrell was born on 27 January 1817. He was the son of Richard Cottrell and Anna Clarke.

Shepard Cottrell died on 11 April 1838 at age 21.

     Deoshy Elliott was also known as Dicey. She married Richard Cottrell, son of Peter Cottrell and Susannah Sheppard, in September 1829.

     Sarah A Cottrell was born in August 1880 in Goochland County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Stewart Hollins Cottrell and Harriett Alexanna Bowles.

     Ira Baughan Cottrell was born on 10 June 1883 in Goochland County, Virginia. He was the son of Stewart Hollins Cottrell and Harriett Alexanna Bowles. Ira Baughan Cottrell married Roberta Francis (?) in 1918. Ira Baughan Cottrell was described as medium height, medium build with brown eyes and black hair in September 1918. He registered for the draft for World War I on 12 September 1918, while living at Goochland County, Virginia, reporting he was employed as a farmer working for himself. He registered for the draft for World War II in 1942, while living at Sabot, Goochland County, Virginia, reporting he was employed for himself on a farm. He was five foot six inches tall, weighed 135 pounds, had brown eyes, gray hair, a ruddy complexion, and was mostlyh bald at the time.

Ira Baughan Cottrell died on 11 April 1947 in Goochland County, Virginia, at age 63. He was buried in Bethel Church Cemetery, Goochland County, Virginia.

     Stewart begin a teaching career in 1913. Stuart C Cottrell was born on 21 August 1890 in Cardwell, Goochland County, Virginia. He was the son of Stewart Hollins Cottrell and Harriett Alexanna Bowles. Stuart C Cottrell was described as medium height, medium build, with brown eyes and dark brown hair in May 1917. He registered for the draft for World War I on 30 May 1917, while living at Cardwell, Goochland County, Virginia, reporting he was employed as a post office clerk. Stewart served for fourteen months in France and while he was there he found the oppurtunity to take a special course of study in the University of Bordeaux. He married Edna Withers Kent on 1 May 1920 in Goochland County, Virginia.

Stuart C Cottrell died on 21 April 1935 in Goochland County, Virginia, at age 44. He was buried in Bowles Cemetery, Goochland County, Virginia.

     Anna B Cottrell was born in December 1892 in Goochland County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Stewart Hollins Cottrell and Harriett Alexanna Bowles.

     James Garland Hening Jr was born on 25 November 1897 in Henrico County, Virginia. He was the son of James Garland Hening and Estelle Wallwork Cottrell. James Garland Hening Jr died on 16 January 1982 in Richmond, Virginia, at age 84 at his home at 4901 Iron Bridge Road at 6:30 in the morning. His cause of death was chronic obstructive lung disease. He had his body donated to the Virginia State Anatomical Program in Richmond, Virginia on 18 January 1982.
