John Caldwell Calhoon died on 13 June 1928 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 54 at 11:45 in the morning at his home at 1230 Allen Street. Syrilda and William had at least one child including William Alonzo Clark. Syrilda’s second marriage was to James H. Wrigh sometime prior to 1867. James was born around 1842 in Kentucky and died prior to the 1880 census. It is interesting to note that on the 1880 census record Syrilda’s son with her first husband William P. Clar is listed as Wm Wright, rather than the last name of Clark. However, on his death record he is listed William Alonzo Clar. According to census records Syrilda and James had at least three children including Alvie Wright, Nellie Wright, Ajax Wright.
