     Joseph C Cottrell was born on 23 November 1840 in Lewis County, Missouri. He was the son of James P Cottrell and Martha Elizabeth Stipe. Joseph C Cottrell married Mary Mollie Lemon on 8 November 1866 in Lewis County, Missouri, with J.W. Barrett, Minister of the Gospel, performing the ceremony. Joseph C Cottrell was widowed with the death of Mary Mollie Lemon on 2 August 1913 in LaGrange, Lewis County, Missouri.

Joseph C Cottrell died on 29 January 1916 in LaGrange, Lewis County, Missouri, at age 75 in the afternoon. He was buried on 31 January 1916 in Marks Cemetery, La Grange, Lewis County, Missouri. In 1983 Joseph joined the Christian Church in La Grange.

William T Cottrell registered for the draft for the Civil War in 1863, while living at Union, Lewis County, Missouri, reporting he was employed as a farmer. He married Sarah J Lemon, daughter of Joseph C Lemon and Zarilda Jane Robards, on 20 December 1866 in Lewis County, Missouri. William T Cottrell was widowed with the death of Sarah J Lemon in February 1908 in Lewis County, Kentucky.

William T Cottrell died on 26 July 1919 in Union, Lewis County, Missouri, at age 76. He was buried on 27 July 1919 in Marks Cemetery, Lewis County, Missouri.

John Preston Cottrell married Cynthia Susan Elizabeth Mcpeeters on 3 July 1872 in Lewis County, Missouri, with William W Waggoner, a minister of the United Baptist Church, performing the marriage. John Preston Cottrell left a will on 23 October 1883 at Lewis County, Missouri, leaving all of his property and estate to his wife Elizabeth for her use during her widowhood and what was left to be equally divided between his three sons Henry, Ernest, and Everett.

     Thomas Cottrell was born in January 1848 in Lewis County, Missouri. He was the son of Peter Cottrell and Susan A Stipes. Thomas Cottrell married Josephine Alice Lemon, daughter of Joseph C Lemon and Zarilda Jane Robards, on 22 April 1869 in Lewis County, Missouri. Thomas Cottrell was widowed with the death of Josephine Alice Lemon on 24 June 1906 in Missouri.

Thomas Cottrell died on 12 September 1914 in Oklahoma at age 66. He was buried in Riverview Cemetery, La Grange, Lewis county, Missouri.

     Clara J Lewis was born on 13 February 1842 in Bullitt County, Kentucky, the daughter of Benford and Elizabeth Lewis. She married John C Brashear, son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown, in 1862. Clar J (Lewis) Brashear was widowed with the death of John C Brashear before 9 April 1895 in Bullitt County, Kentucky.

Clar J (Lewis) Brashear died on 18 January 1922 in West Point, Hardin County, Kentucky, at age 79 at 3:00 in the afternoon. Her cause of death was carcinoma of the liver. She was buried on 20 January 1922 in Brashear Cemetery, Hardin County, Kentucky.

     Lillian Elizabeth Brashear was born in 1862 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John C Brashear and Clara J Lewis. Lillian Elizabeth Brashear married (?) Key in 1883.

Corrina E (Brashear) Miller died on 5 December 1936 in West Point, Hardin County, Kentucky, at age 73 at 2:45 in the afternoon. Her cause of death was urenia. She was buried on 7 December 1936 in Cave Hill Cemetery, West Point, Hardin County, Kentucky.

     C.J. Bolton Sr. was born in 1880. He married Mary Eugenia Brashear, daughter of John C Brashear and Clara J Lewis, in 1901. C.J. Bolton Sr. was widowed with the death of Mary Eugenia Brashear on 15 October 1953 in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, Kentucky.

     Robert M Brashear was born in October 1883 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. He was the son of John C Brashear and Clara J Lewis.

Mary A (Brashear) Mickel died on 23 August 1876 in Kentucky at age 37. She was buried in Blackford Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Hancock County, Kentucky.

     Henry Mickel was born in 1835 in Germany. He married Mary A Brashear, daughter of Otho Brashears and Julia Ann Flake, on 7 December 1860 in Cloverport, Breckinridge County, Kentucky.

     Otho Brashear Mickel was born in 1861 in Kentucky. He was the son of Henry Mickel and Mary A Brashear.

     Henry M Mickel Jr. was born in 1876 in Kentucky. He was the son of Henry Mickel and Mary A Brashear.

     Emily Brashear was born in 1845 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of Otho Brashears and Julia Ann Flake.

     Jane Brashear was born in 1847. She was the daughter of Otho Brashears and Julia Ann Flake.

     Nancy Brashear was born on 7 January 1797 in Maysville, Bracken County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Ignatius Brashear Jr and Mary F Orme. Nancy Brashear married Capt Benjamin Hughes on 6 October 1818. Benjamin Hughes and his wife Nancy moved to Mississippi They spent their first night in the household of Waterman Crane in Claiborne County. The following day they went to Port Gibson and rented a plantation. They later moved to the town of Port Gibson and opened a mercantile establishment. Benjamin and Nancy had a total of twelve children eight of which died in infancy. Nancy (Brashear) Hughes witnessed the death of Capt Benjamin Hughes on 7 July 1842 in Port Gibson, Claiborne County, Mississippi.

Nancy Brashear died on 23 December 1875 in Claiborne County, Mississippi, at age 78. She was buried in Wintergreen Cemetery, Port Gibson, Claiborne County, Mississippi, in Lot 15 (Hughes and Morehead.)

     Capt Benjamin Hughes was born on 23 February 1789 in Maryland. Benjamin was a soldier in the War of 1812 and held the rank of captain of his company. He received his commission on 13 August 1813 from William Henry Harrison. He married Nancy Brashear, daughter of Ignatius Brashear Jr and Mary F Orme, on 6 October 1818. Benjamin Hughes and his wife Nancy moved to Mississippi They spent their first night in the household of Waterman Crane in Claiborne County. The following day they went to Port Gibson and rented a plantation. They later moved to the town of Port Gibson and opened a mercantile establishment. Benjamin and Nancy had a total of twelve children eight of which died in infancy. Benjamin became very wealthy but nearly went bankrupt due to his generosity. Sometime between after his last child was born in 1832, Benjamin moved his family to New Orleans, Louisiana where he was a commission merchant. Around 1941 they moved back to Grand Gulf, Claiborne County, Mississippi.

Capt Benjamin Hughes died on 7 July 1842 in Port Gibson, Claiborne County, Mississippi, at age 53. He was buried in Wintergreen Cemetery, Port Gibson, Claiborne County, Mississippi, in Lot 15 (Hughes and Morehead.)

     Robert H Brashear Sr was born on 24 August 1800 in Nelson County, Kentucky. He was the son of Ignatius Brashear Jr and Mary F Orme. Robert H Brashear Sr married Mary Elizabeth Unseld, daughter of Henry Unseld and Margaret (?), on 10 June 1828. Robert H Brashear Sr was widowed with the death of Mary Elizabeth Unseld on 29 July 1859 in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Robert H Brashear Sr died in 1866.

     Mary Elizabeth Unseld was born on 2 October 1805 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Henry Unseld and Margaret (?) Mary Elizabeth Unseld married Robert H Brashear Sr, son of Ignatius Brashear Jr and Mary F Orme, on 10 June 1828.

Mary Elizabeth Unseld died on 29 July 1859 in Jefferson County, Kentucky, at age 53.
