Robert Grady Barbee suffered the death of his sister, Myrtle "Mirtie" Jerome Barbee on 16 March 1937 at Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Robert Grady Barbee suffered the death of his father, Noah Calvin Barbee on 26 December 1937 at Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Robert Grady Barbee suffered the death of his sister, Sallie Lucy Barbee on 3 February 1939 at Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.      Max Hilton Barbee was born on 24 April 1926 at Davidson County, North Carolina. He was the son of Robert Grady Barbee. Max Hilton Barbee began military service on 20 September 1942 with his enlistment in the US Navy. He died in January 1943 at age 16; while on convoy duty in the Atlantic. He was lost at Sea and his remains were not recovered. He is memorialized at Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, Manhattan, New York County, New York.

     Howard Taft Barbee was born on 14 June 1908 at Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Noah Calvin Barbee and Mary Ella McAnulty.
