     John Smizer Crow was born on 10 November 1828 in Cole County, Missouri. He was the son of Samuel J Crow and Catherine Waters Smith. John Smizer Crow married Kate Kerr on 1 December 1853 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.

John Smizer Crow died on 2 October 1915 in Paris, Monroe County, Missouri, at age 86. He was buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Paris, Monroe County, Missouri.

     Charles Wickliff Crow was born circa 30 December 1830 in Missouri. He was the son of Samuel J Crow and Catherine Waters Smith.

     Margaret Crow was born on 18 September 1802 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Lt Samuel Crow and Elizabeth Brashear.

     Basil Catryl Crow Jr was born on 3 March 1800. He was the son of Basil Crow and Ann Nancy Brashear. Basil Catryl Crow Jr married Maximilian Brashear, daughter of Belt Brashear and Amelia Duvall, on 20 January 1825 in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Basil Catryl Crow Jr died on 28 January 1872 at age 71.

     Amelia Duvall married Belt Brashear, son of Jeremiah Brashear Sr and Esther Belt.

     Maximilian Brashear was the daughter of Belt Brashear and Amelia Duvall. Maximilian Brashear married Basil Catryl Crow Jr, son of Basil Crow and Ann Nancy Brashear, on 20 January 1825 in Lafayette, Louisiana.

     Maria Brashear Crow was born in 1797. She was the daughter of Basil Crow and Ann Nancy Brashear. Maria Brashear Crow married Thomas Brown Brashear, son of Basil Brown Brashear Sr and Mary Brown, on 10 November 1818 in Attakapas, St. Mary's Parish, Louisiana.

     Ann Crow was born in 1798. She was the daughter of Basil Crow and Ann Nancy Brashear. Ann Crow married Martin Felix DeMaret.

     Otho Brashears was born on 24 January 1794 in Masonville, Mason County, Kentucky. He was the son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown. Otho Brashears married Mary Ann Wells on 29 March 1811 in Franklin County, Kentucky. Otho Brashears was described as as 5 foot 10 or 11 inches high with a dark complexion, dark hair, and dark eyes in 1813. He began military service on 29 March 1813 in Newport, Kentucky, as a Private in Captain Peter Dudley's Company of the Kentucky Militia. He ended military service on 22 September 1813 at Fort Seneca, Ohio, with an honorable discharge. A bond for the marriage of Otho Brashears and Julia Ann (Flake) Jackson was signed on 14 January 1837 in Hancock County, Kentucky, with the concent of Micheal Flake, Julia Ann's father. Otho Brashears married Julia Ann (Flake) Jackson on 15 January 1837 in Hancock County, Kentucky, by Rev Mason. Otho was granted a pension of 8 dollars per month in 1871 under the Act of February 14, 1871 under certificate number 9143.

Otho Brashears died on 23 December 1875 in Cloverport, Breckinridge County, Kentucky, at age 81. His cause of death was being taken with fevers. He was buried in Bates Cemetery, Lewisprot, Hancock County, Kentucky.

     Mary Ann Wells was born in 1798 in Franklin County, Kentucky. She married Otho Brashears, son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown, on 29 March 1811 in Franklin County, Kentucky.

Mary Ann Wells died in 1825 in Hancock County, Kentucky.

     Julia Ann Flake was born on 8 April 1817 in Indiana. She married Andrew Jackson in 1833. Julia Ann (Flake) Jackson was widowed with the death of Andrew Jackson in Kentucky. A bond for the marriage of Julia Ann (Flake) Jackson and Otho Brashears was signed on 14 January 1837 in Hancock County, Kentucky, with the concent of Micheal Flake, Julia Ann's father. Julia Ann (Flake) Jackson married Otho Brashears, son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown, on 15 January 1837 in Hancock County, Kentucky, by Rev Mason. In 1855 Otho received 80 acres of land under the Act of March 3, 1855. He later received an additional 80 acres of land for a total of 160 acres. Julia Ann (Flake) Brashears witnessed the death of Otho Brashears on 23 December 1875 in Cloverport, Breckinridge County, Kentucky. Julia received a pension of 12 dollars per month for her husband Otho's service in the War of 1812 under the Act of March 9, 1878 until the date of her death in 1900.

Julia Ann (Flake) Brashears died on 29 January 1900 in Hancock County, Kentucky, at age 82. She was buried in Blackford Cemetery, Hancock County, Kentucky.

     Thomas Brashear was born on 27 September 1804 in Palmyra, Missouri. He was the son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown. Thomas Brashear married Sarah Harmon on 11 February 1833 in Palmyra, Missouri.

     Sarah Harmon was born on 7 April 1807 in Germantown, Kentucky. She married Thomas Brashear, son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown, on 11 February 1833 in Palmyra, Missouri.

Sarah Harmon died on 2 September 1843 at age 36.

     Zenelda Brashear was born on 1 November 1835 in Palmyra, Missouri. She was the daughter of Thomas Brashear and Sarah Harmon. Zenelda Brashear married George M Dickson 2 oct 1830 in 1855 in Woodland, Missouri.

Zenelda (Brashear) Dickson died on 22 February 1898 in Palmyra, Missouri, at age 62.

     George M Dickson 2 oct 1830 was born on 2 October 1830 in Woodland, Missouri. He married Zenelda Brashear, daughter of Thomas Brashear and Sarah Harmon, in 1855 in Woodland, Missouri.

     Matthew Brashear was born on 20 October 1809 in Kentucky. He was the son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown. Matthew Brashear married Delilah Downing in 1830. Matthew Brashear married Julia Ann Downing before 1835 in Mason County, Kentucky.

Matthew Brashear died on 16 November 1870 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 61. He was buried in Charleston Bottoms Cemetery, Dover, Mason County, Kentucky.

     Delilah Downing was born in 1810. She married Matthew Brashear, son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown, in 1830.

     Julia Ann Downing was born on 12 January 1819 in Kentucky. She married Matthew Brashear, son of Thomas C Brashear and Nancy Brown, before 1835 in Mason County, Kentucky.

Julia Ann (Downing) Brashear died on 29 October 1889 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 70. She was buried in Charleston Bottoms Cemetery, Dover, Mason County, Kentucky.

     Cynthia Ann Brashear was born in March 1835 in Mason County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Matthew Brashear and Julia Ann Downing. Cynthia Ann Brashear married (?) Scott in 1855. Cynthia Ann Brashear and (?) Scott were divorced.

Cynthia Ann (Brashear) Scott died on 3 April 1917 in Mason County, Kentucky, at age 82. Her cause of death was senility. She was buried on 5 April 1917 in Charleston Bottoms Cemetery, Dover, Mason County, Kentucky.

     (?) Scott married Cynthia Ann Brashear, daughter of Matthew Brashear and Julia Ann Downing, in 1855. (?) Scott and Cynthia Ann Brashear were divorced.

     John Leonard Brashear was born on 23 December 1854 in Mason County, Kentucky. He was the son of Matthew Brashear and Julia Ann Downing. John Leonard Brashear married Floretta Laycock in 1888.

John Leonard Brashear died on 5 July 1933 in Hilldale, Mason County, Kentucky, at age 78. His cause of death was anemia. He was buried on 7 July 1933 in Charleston Bottoms Cemetery, Dover, Mason County, Kentucky.

     Floretta Laycock was born in June 1865 in Ohio. She married John Leonard Brashear, son of Matthew Brashear and Julia Ann Downing, in 1888.
