William White was the son of Father of AW & WW White. William White died circa 1764 at Georgia (?) William White was the brother of Archibald White and came with him to North Carolina in 1764. Tradition tells us that William left his daughters, Jane and Agnes with his brother and continued further south. He and his sons had just finished building a log cabin when they were killed by Indians. The fate of his wife is unclear. Jane and Agnes lived with their uncle Archibald.

Agnes White was born in 1760. She was the daughter of William White. Agnes made her home with her sister Jane and her husband William White. The 1774 Mecklenburg County court records show that she chose her brother-in-law William as her guardian. Agnes White married Archibald McLarty in 1787 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Archibald and Agnes had ten children. She moved to Georgia or Alabama with other McLarty families after the death of her husband. Agnes White died after 1820.
