     Alexander Bloomer White was born on 1 November 1807 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Thomas White and Margaret McLarty. Alexander Bloomer White married Jane Johnston Miller on 13 January 1830 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Alexander Bloomer White died on 8 July 1881 at age 73. He was buried at Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Elizabeth White was born on 25 January 1809 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas White and Margaret McLarty. She never married. Elizabeth White died after 1850 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Frances White was born in 1811 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. He was unmarried. Frances White died on 14 December 1841 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Margaret M. White was born in 1812 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. She was unmarried in 1850. Margaret M. White appeared on the census of 1850 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 17 September. Margaret M. White was enumerated as the 38 year old head of household with real estate valved at $725. Included in the household were Jane White age 36, Sarah L. age 22 and John M. a 20 year old farmer.

     Jane White was born in 1814 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. She was unmarried in 1850. Jane White appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Margaret M. White at Cabarrus County, North Carolina, as age 36.

     Joseph S. White was born in 1816 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White.

     Tirzah Louisa White was born in 1818 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. Tirzah Louisa White married Nelson Penninger on 1 September 1842. Tirzah (White) Penninger appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Nelson Penninger at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 14 September. Nelson Penninger was enumerated as the 32 year old head of household and a farmer. Also enumerated in the household were Terrisa L. Penninger age 31, John M C Penninger age five and Martha L. Penninger age three. Tirzah (White) Penninger appeared on the census of 1860 in the household of Nelson Penninger at Rowan County, North Carolina; enumerated 6 July. N. Peninger was enumerated as the 42 year old head of household and a farmer. He was listed with real estate valved at $404 and a personal estate valved at $575. Terrissa Peninger was enumerated as age 42. Peninger children were enumerated as John MC age 15, William D. age eight, Frances C. age five and Laura M. age two. Also enumerated as a member of the household was 30 year old Sarah L. White. Tirzah (White) Penninger appeared on the census of 1870 in the household of Nelson Penninger at Rowan County, North Carolina; enumerated 22 July. Nelson Penninger was enumerated as the 52 year old head of household and a farmer. He claimed real estate valved at $600 and a personal estate valved at $375. Tirzah Penninger was enumerated as age 51 and keeping house. Penninger children were enumerated as Caleb age 25, William age 19, Francis age 15 and Lydia age 8. Also enumerated as a member of the household was 42 year old Sarah White. Tirzah (White) Penninger appeared on the census of 1880 in the household of Nelson Penninger at Rowan County, North Carolina; enumerated June 1 and June 2. Nelson Penninger was enumerated as the 62 year old head of household and a farmer. Tirzah Penninger was enumerated as his 61 year old wife and she was keeping house. One son was enumerated as 28 year old William, a laborer. One daughter was enumerated as Lydia age 18. Also enumerated as a member of the household was 50 year old Sarah White.

     Mary Lydia White was born in June 1823 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. Daniel K Winecoff signed a bond on 11 October 1843 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina, for his marriage to Mary Lydia White; with bondsman Ranson Winecoff and witness Kiah P Harris. She married Daniel K Winecoff in October 1843 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Daniel K Winecoff at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 16 Sept. Daniel Wenicoff was enumerated as age 33 and he owned real estated valued at $500. Mary L Wenicoff was enumerated as age 28. Two Wenicoff male children were enumerated as James M age three and Harvey H age one. Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff suffered the death of her son, James M Winecoff before 1860 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff appeared on the census of 1860 in the household of Daniel K Winecoff at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 16 July. Daniel Winecoff was enumerated as age 44 with personal property valued at $115, but listed no real estate. Mary L Winecoff was enumerated as age 44. Three Winecoff children were enumerated as Harvey H age 11, Matilda J age 6, and three year old Charles W Winecoff. Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff and Daniel K Winecoff lived in July 1870 at Township 2, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff appeared on the census of 1870 in the household of Daniel K Winecoff at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 11 July. Daniel Winecoff was enumerated as the 54 year old head of household with personal estate valued at $600 but claimed no value in real estate. Mary L White was enumerated as age 47 and keeping house. Harvey Winecoff was enumerated as age 21 and Charles W Winecoff was enumerated as age 13. Both were working as farm hands. Matilda Winecoff was enumerated as age 17 and "at home." Also enumerated as members of the household were Margt White age 54 and "at home" and Rich Weddington a 20 year old Black farm hand.

Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff and Daniel K Winecoff lived in June 1880 at Unity Township, Rowan County, North Carolina. Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff appeared on the census of 1880 in the household of Daniel K Winecoff at Rowan County, North Carolina; enumerated 7 June. Daniel Winecoff was enumerated as the 63 year old head of household. Mary Winwcoff was enumerated as his 55 year old wife and keeping house. One daughter was enumerated as Matilda age 25 and one son as Charles age 23. One nephew was enumerated as 19 year old John Winecoff. Both Charles and John were working as laborers.

Mary Lydia (White) Winecoff died on 22 June 1880 at North Carolina. She was buried at Unity Presbyterian Cemetery, Woodleaf, Rowan County, North Carolina.

     Matilda White was born in 1822 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. She was unmarried. Matilda White died on 4 October 1844 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Sarah L. White was born in December 1827 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. Sarah L. White appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Margaret M. White at Cabarrus County, North Carolina, as age 22. Sarah L. White appeared on the census of 1860 in the household of Nelson Penninger at Rowan County, North Carolina, as age thirty and was listed as having a personal estate valved at $200. Sarah L. White appeared on the census of 1870 in the household of Nelson Penninger at Rowan County, North Carolina, as age 42 with no occupation. Sarah L. White appeared on the census of 1880 in the household of her brother-in-law, Nelson Penninger at Rowan County, North Carolina, as Sarah White age 50 and single. Sarah L. White died on 30 March 1903 at Rowan County, North Carolina, at age 75. She was buried at Unity Presbyterian Cemetery, Woodleaf, Rowan County, North Carolina.

     John M. White was born in 1830 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Thomas White and Martha "Patsy" White. John M. White appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Margaret M. White at Cabarrus County, North Carolina, as a 20 year old farmer and he had attended school within the year.

     Frances "Fannie" Rogers was born in 1765. She married Joseph Andrew White, son of Archibald Jackson White and Mary Susan Walker, circa 1789 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Frances "Fannie" (Rogers) White died on 7 September 1823 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Mary "Polly" White was born in 1790 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew White and Frances "Fannie" Rogers. Married to Samuel White on September 4, 1812. No other information.

     John Rogers White was born in 1795 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Andrew White and Frances "Fannie" Rogers. John Rogers White married Theodosia McEachern on 1 January 1822 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Researcher's Note: The Lore book states there were no children of this marriage. However, another researcher contacted me stating that they had one daughter, Frances Kincaid Rogers White. John Rogers White died on 12 July 1822 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Theodosia McEachern married John Rogers White, son of Joseph Andrew White and Frances "Fannie" Rogers, on 1 January 1822 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Researcher's Note: The Lore book states there were no children of this marriage. However, another researcher contacted me stating that they had one daughter, Frances Kincaid Rogers White.

     Archibald Simonton White was born on 17 July 1797 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Andrew White and Frances "Fannie" Rogers. Archibald Simonton White married Belinda Bradford circa 1832 at North Carolina. Archibald Simonton White appeared on the census of 1850 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 17 September. Archibald S White was enumerated as the 52 year old head of household and a farmer with real estate valued at $844. Household members were enumerated as Malinda White age 44, Rachel E White age 14, Joseph R White age 14 and Mary S White age 13. All three children had attended school within the year. He appeared on the census of 1860 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 28 June. Arch S White was enumerated as the 63 year old head of household and a farmer with real estate valued at $3,210 and personal estate valued at $1,984. Enumerated in the household were Malinda White age 55, Rachel E White age 25, Joseph R White a 24 year old farm hand and Mary S White age 23. Also enumerated in the household were A. Timothy Carriker a 30 year old farm hand with personal estate valued at $50, and Jane Carriker age 21. All members of the household were born in North Carolina. He died on 2 April 1868 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina, at age 70. He was buried at Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cabarrus County, North Carolina; grave # RR 9 C 291 marker states A.S. White.

     Aquinas White was born on 19 September 1799 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Joseph Andrew White and Frances "Fannie" Rogers. Aquinas White married Mary Scott White, daughter of William Shaw White and Jean Scott, on 22 July 1826 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Aquinas White married Clarissa White, daughter of Archibald White and Hannah Bradshaw, on 22 December 1835 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Aquinas White died on 7 June 1883 at age 83.

     Elizabeth White was born in 1801 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew White and Frances "Fannie" Rogers. Elizabeth White never married.

     Salina F. White was born in 1805 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew White and Frances "Fannie" Rogers. Salina F. White married McAmey A. White, son of John White and Sarah "Salley" Bigger, on 7 March 1827 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; no children of this marriage. Saline F. (White) White died in 1828 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     William White Jr. was born on 12 March 1751. He was the son of The Widow White. William White, Jr. participated in the "Gunpowder Plot" in 1771 and became known as one of the "Cabarrus Black Boys." William White Jr. married Jane White, daughter of William White, in May 1773 at Rocky River, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. William White Jr. died on 10 July 1794 at Rocky River, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, at age 43. He was buried at Old Rocky River Graveyard, Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Jane White was born in 1754. She was the daughter of William White. Jane White married William White Jr., son of The Widow White, in May 1773 at Rocky River, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Jane (White) White died on 18 May 1837 at Rocky River, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was buried at Old Rocky River Graveyard, Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     William White was the son of Father of AW & WW White. William White died circa 1764 at Georgia (?) William White was the brother of Archibald White and came with him to North Carolina in 1764. Tradition tells us that William left his daughters, Jane and Agnes with his brother and continued further south. He and his sons had just finished building a log cabin when they were killed by Indians. The fate of his wife is unclear. Jane and Agnes lived with their uncle Archibald.

     Agnes White was born in 1760. She was the daughter of William White. Agnes made her home with her sister Jane and her husband William White. The 1774 Mecklenburg County court records show that she chose her brother-in-law William as her guardian. Agnes White married Archibald McLarty in 1787 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Archibald and Agnes had ten children. She moved to Georgia or Alabama with other McLarty families after the death of her husband. Agnes White died after 1820.

     Archibald McLarty was born in 1756 at Scotland. He married Agnes White, daughter of William White, in 1787 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Archibald and Agnes had ten children. Archibald McLarty died in 1814 at North Carolina.

     John C. Austin was born in March 1849 at North Carolina. He married Eliza Albertine McCurdy, daughter of Jacob Monroe McCurdy and Sarah Minerva White, circa 1883 at North Carolina. John C. Austin was a farmer who owned his farm with a mortgage in 1900 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He appeared on the census of 1900 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina; enumerated 12 June. John C. Austin was enumerated as the 51 year old head of household. Eliza A. was enumerated as his 40 year old wife of 17 years. Two sons were enumerated as Ray J. age 12 and William L. age 3. Five daughters were enumerated as Minnie B. age 15, Cora A. age 13, Bertha age 10, Fanny L. age 8 and Dora W. age 5.

     Thomas D. Joyner was born on 5 June 1855 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; the son of John Joyner and Nancy Head. He married Margaret Sellers McCurdy, daughter of Jacob Monroe McCurdy and Sarah Minerva White, circa 1879 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Thomas D. Joyner appeared on the census of 1880 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated in June. T.B. Joyner was enumerated as a 25 year old laborer and head of household. M.S. Joyner was enumerated as his 26 year old wife. Included in the household was a six month old daughter, Nancy. Also living in the household were; R.W. Bigger a 21 year old laborer, Jane Goodnight age 65 and A.G. McCurdy a 53 year old disabled boarder. The Thomas D. Joyner and Margaret McCurdy Joyner household was enumerated following the household of her father, Jacob McCurdy on the 1880 census.

Thomas D. Joyner was a farmer between 1900 and 1930 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He appeared on the census of 1900 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 2 June. Thomas D. Joyner was enumerated as the 45 year old head of household and he owned his farm free of mortgage. Margaret S. Joyner was enumerated as his 46 year old wife and the mother of seven children with four children living. Two sons were enumerated as Jacob G. age thirteen and John M. age seven. One daughter was enumerated as Sarah E. age ten. All three children had attended school for three months of the year. He appeared on the census of 1910 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 16 April. Thomas Joyner was enumerated as the 55 year old head of household and he owned his farm, located on the Mt. Pleasant Road, free of mortgage. Maggie S. Joyner was enumerated as his 56 year old wife and the mother of seven children with four children living. Joyner children enumerated in the household were; Nannie age 29, Jacob age 22, Lizzie age 20 and John age 17. Also enumerated as living with the family was a 52 year old sister-in-law, Sis McCurdy.

Thomas D. Joyner appeared on the census of 1920 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 29 January. Thomas D. Joyner was enumerated as the 65 year old head of household. Margaret S. Joyner was enumerated as his 65 year old wife. Also enumerated in the household was one daughter, 40 year old Nannie A. Joyner and one son Jacob Joyner, 32 year old farmer. The Thomas Joyner household including his son Jacob Goodman Joyner was enumerated next to the household of his younger son, John McCurdy Joyner on the 1920 census. Each man was working on his own account on his own farm. Thomas owned his general farm free of mortgage and it was listed as number 161 on the farm schedule. Jacob's cotton and corn farm was listed as number 162 and John's rented general farm was listed as number 163 on the farm schedule. All three farms were located on a "country road to Bost Mill." He appeared on the census of 1930 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina; enumerated 8 April. Thomas Johyner was enumerated as the 75 year old head of household. Sophia Johyner was enumerated as his 76 year old wife. Daughters enumerated in the household were Nannie age 50 and Lizzie age 38. One son was enumerated as Jake age 35. The households of Thomas Joyner and his son John were enumerated together again on the 1930 census. Jacob Joyner was again a member of his father's household. Their farms were listed on the farm schedule as number 75 for Jacob, 76 for Thomas and 78 for John.

Thomas D. Joyner died on 7 June 1933 at Township #10, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, at age 78; at 9 a.m. He was buried on 8 June 1933 at Howell's Baptist Church Cemetery, Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina; under the direction of Bell & Harris Funeral Home of Concord.

     Jane Johnston Miller was born on 19 January 1806. She married Alexander Bloomer White, son of Thomas White and Margaret McLarty, on 13 January 1830 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Jane (Miller) White was widowed with the death of her husband, Alexander Bloomer White on 8 July 1881.

Jane (Miller) White died on 14 May 1882 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina, at age 76. She was buried at Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Francis Miller White was born on 17 November 1830 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Alexander Bloomer White and Jane Johnston Miller. Francis Miller White died on 7 November 1845 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina, at age 14; killed by falling from a horse. He was buried at Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

     Margaret Clementine White was born on 20 August 1832 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Alexander Bloomer White and Jane Johnston Miller. Married Jacob Dove 29 Jan 1856. They were the parents of eight children. Margaret Clementine White died on 2 February 1895 at age 62.

     Thomas Harvey White was born on 8 February 1834 at Cabarrus County, North Carolina. He was the son of Alexander Bloomer White and Jane Johnston Miller. Thomas Harvey White died on 9 November 1863 at Richmond, Independent City (Richmond), Virginia, at age 29. He was buried at Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Cabarrus County, North Carolina; grave # RR 12 G 119.
