     Mildred Cosby was born in 1857 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Addison A Cosby and Eliza Jane Sadler.

     Lettie Eubank was born on 28 November 1856 in Virginia. She married Benjamin Franklin Cosby, son of Addison A Cosby and Eliza Jane Sadler, before 1878. Lettie (Eubank) Cosby lived with A D Jenkins and Lucie A (Cosby) Jenkins in June 1880 at Richmond, Independent City (Richmond), Virginia, at 8 West Marshall. Lettie (Eubank) Cosby and Benjamin Franklin Cosby lived in June 1900 at Richmond, Virginia, at 406 Clay Street. Lettie (Eubank) Cosby was widowed with the death of Benjamin Franklin Cosby on 8 October 1920 in Virginia.

Lettie Eubank died on 4 November 1932 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, at age 75 at Sacred Heart Sanitarium. She was buried on 7 November 1932 in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia, in Pavilion Section, Lot 38.

     Ernest H Cosby was born in 1878 in Henrico County, Virginia. He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Cosby and Lettie Eubank. Ernest H Cosby lived with A D Jenkins and Lucie A (Cosby) Jenkins in June 1880 at Richmond, Independent City (Richmond), Virginia, at 8 West Marshall. Ernest H Cosby married Mary B Snyder in 1900. On 29 June 1916 Ernest was arraigned in the Police Court in Richmond, Virginia on a charge of "laboring at his trade on the Sabbath" by playing the pipe organ in All Saints' Episcopal Church. Apparently Hernest requested the police arrest him so a test of the law might be made. He surrendered himself to a magistrate Sunday morning after church. He was bailed for his appearance in the Police Court. Justice Crutchfield dismissed the charges saying "I consider church music very necessary for this gang here in Richmond."

Ernest lived in the Richmond, Virginia area his entire life except for spending a year in Washington in 1912. He was a paid organist at 14 years of age and served as organist and choir director of All-Saints Church from 1901 until 1935 when he retired because of ill health.

Ernest H Cosby died on 8 August 1937 in Augusta County, Virginia. He was buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Independent City (Richmond), Virginia, in Pavillion Lot 38.

He registered for the draft for World War I on 5 June 1917, while living at Bristol, Connecticut, reporting he was employed as carpet layer, married with three children. He and Katherine Helen (Frank) Johns lived in January 1920 at Manhattan, New York County, New York, at 354 West 18th Street. William E Johns and Katherine Helen (Frank) Johns lived in April 2015 at New Haven County, Connecticut, at 61 Pond Lily in New Haven.
