     Emma Melsheimer Stafford was born on 22 August 1903 at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Cyrus Black Stafford and Laura Montgomery Fulton. Emma Melsheimer Stafford appeared on the census of 1910 with Cyrus Black Stafford at Shelby County, Tennessee, as lodgers in the household of Auguela Roiter. Emma was enumerated as age six and attending school. Emma Melsheimer Stafford appeared on the census of 1920 at Duval County, Florida; enumerated 13 January as a lodger in the household of James T. Greene. Emma Stafford was enumerated as age sixteen. Other Staffords also enumerated in the household as lodgers were Laura age 42, Nina age eighteen and Cyrus age three years, eight months. She appeared on the census of 1930 at Jefferson County, Kentucky; enumerated 2 April. Emma M. Stafford was enumerated as age 26 and a trained nurse working in the United States Marine Hospital in Louisville. Emma Melsheimer Stafford was also known as "Aunt Sissy" by her nephew, Charles Fuller Sharrard, Jr. She began military service on 15 March 1941 as a nurse with the U.S. Army. She lived on 9 March 1946 at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky; at the time of her father's death. She lived in June 1951 at Japan; as a member of the Army Nurse Corp. According to her nephew, Charles Fuller Sharrard, Jr., after an extended tour of duty in the Pacific, Emma Stafford returned to her "constant home in Louisville KY and rejected all contact with family and friends." He further states that she "was a very private person who shunned our entire family to the point of almost becoming a recluse." She ended military service on 13 August 1957; with the rank of captain. She died on 4 May 1996 at Kentucky Veterans Center, Wilmore, Jessamine County, Kentucky, at age 92; at 2:45 a.m. of congestive heart failure. She was buried on 7 May 1996 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, Jessamine County, Kentucky; with graveside funeral services. Betts-West Funeral Home, 404 North Main Street, Nicholasville, Kentucky, was in charge of arrangements. Grave located in section I, site 429.

     Cyrus Black Stafford Jr was born on 25 April 1916 at Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. He was the son of Cyrus Black Stafford and Laura Montgomery Fulton. Cyrus Black Stafford Jr was also known as Buddy. He appeared on the census of 1920 at Duval County, Florida; enumerated 13 January as a lodger in the household of James T. Greene. Cyrus Stafford was enumerated as age three years, eight months. Other Staffords also enumerated in the household as lodgers were Laura age 42, Nina age eighteen and Emma age sixteen. He appeared on the census of 1930 in the household of his father, Cyrus Black Stafford at DuPage County, Illinois,as age 13 and attending school. Cyrus Black Stafford Jr lived with his parents, Cyrus Black Stafford and Laura M. (Fulton) Stafford in April 1930 at 335 Montclair, Glen Ellyn Village, DuPage County, Illinois. Cyrus Black Stafford Jr was graduated circa 1938 at Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana; from Purdue University. He was an engineer-designer at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He began military service at Camden County, New Jersey, with the U. S. Army Air Corp and was assigned ID # 0-393246. He was graduated in May 1940 at Randolph Field, Texas; from Officers Training School and was commissioned a second lieutenant. He married Mary Martha Willis circa 1942 at Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Lieutenant Colonel Cyrus B. Stafford was an operational engineering officer with the Twelfth Air Force headquarters in Italy. During his service he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters and four Battle Stars. He was posthumously awarded the Legion of Merit for "exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services in the Mediterranean theater of operations from Oct. 20, 1944 to May 1, 1945." Cyrus Black Stafford Jr died on 1 May 1945 at Italy at age 29; "in an aerial accident." He was buried at Follonica, Italy. He was reburied at Florence American Cemetery, Florence, Italy; in Plot H, Row 13, Grave 4.

     Albert Ben Umbaugh was born on 31 August 1905 at Oklahoma. He was the son of Jonas Quinter Umbaugh and Nella "Nellie" Mae Mullen. Between 1910 and 1920, Jonas and Nellie Umbaugh adopted a child that was named Albert Ben Umbaugh. Albert Ben Umbaugh appeared on the census of 1920 in the household of his father, Jonas Quinter Umbaugh at Stanislaus County, California, as age fourteen and attending school. Albert Ben Umbaugh appeared on the census of 1930 at Sacramento County, California; enumerated 11 April. Albert Umbaugh was enumerated as age 24 and working as a laborer for a contractor. He was a boarder paying $10 month rent to Maurice and Alice Waite. He began military service on 14 February 1942 as a private in the US Army. Albert Ben Umbaugh died on 30 April 1979 at 433 South Wall Street # 31, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, at age 73; found at home at 11:35 p.m. He was buried on 10 July 1979 at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside County, California; section 7, site 832, with Rosedale Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

     Pauline Beard was born on 27 June 1913. She married Kenneth McArthur Umbaugh, son of Jonas Quinter Umbaugh and Nella "Nellie" Mae Mullen, at California. Pauline (Beard) Small Umbaugh died on 7 January 1999 at Salinas, Monterey County, California, at age 85.

     John T. Shaw was born on 16 March 1909. He married Nena Montgomery Stafford, daughter of Cyrus Black Stafford and Laura Montgomery Fulton, on 8 July 1938 at Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois. John T. Shaw and Nena (Montgomery) Shaw lived on 9 March 1946 at Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois; at the time of her father's death. John T. Shaw died in June 1974 at Cook County, Illinois, at age 65. Private family funeral services were held at Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois. He was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Livonia, Putnam County, Missouri.

     Mary Martha Willis married Cyrus Black Stafford Jr, son of Cyrus Black Stafford and Laura Montgomery Fulton, circa 1942 at Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Mary Martha Willis was also known as Marty. She was widowed with the death of Cyrus Black Stafford Jr on 1 May 1945 at Italy. Mary Martha (Willis) Stafford lived in September 1945 at 240 S. Maple Avenue, Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois. She lived on 9 March 1946 at Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois; at the time of her father-in-law's death. According to Mr. Charles Sharrard, Marty Willis was married once before she married his uncle, Cyrus Stafford and twice after his death. She died in November 2004 at Wheaton, DuPage County, Illinois. She was cremated and according to her wishes, Charles Sharrard "sprinkled her ashes in a small park" where they often walked. The park was near the nursing home in Wheaton, where she had lived for ten years.

     Lemuel Bartlett was born on 19 November 1793 at Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Rufus Bartlett and Mercy Churchill. Lemuel Bartlett began military service on 14 September 1814 at Norway, Oxford County, Maine, during the War of 1812 and "served in Captain Bailey Bodwell's Company." He is listed as Lemuel^2nd on the roster. He ended military service on 11 November 1814. He married Jane Roseberry on 15 July 1818 at Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, Indiana. Lemuel Bartlett and Jane (Roseberry) Bartlett had 5 children. Lemuel Bartlett and Jane (Roseberry) Bartlett moved in 1832 to Adams County, Illinois.

Lemuel Bartlett died on 30 January 1838 at Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, at age 44.

     Jane Roseberry was born on 21 September 1798 at Pennsylvania. She married Lemuel Bartlett, son of Rufus Bartlett and Mercy Churchill, on 15 July 1818 at Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, Indiana.      Rufus Bartlett was born on 21 August 1762 at Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Lemuel Bartlett and Mary Doty. Rufus Bartlett married Mercy Churchill on 26 November 1788.

     Mercy Churchill was born on 13 November 1763 at Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. She married Rufus Bartlett, son of Lemuel Bartlett and Mary Doty, on 26 November 1788. Mercy (Churchill) Bartlett died on 3 July 1857 at Norway, Oxford County, Maine, at age 93.

     Lucy Jane Bartlett was born on 7 September 1822 at Indiana. She was the daughter of Lemuel Bartlett and Jane Roseberry.      Isaac Wilson Bartlett was born on 28 April 1828 at Lawrenceburg, Dearborn County, Indiana. He was the son of Lemuel Bartlett and Jane Roseberry. Isaac Wilson Bartlett appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Pardon Potter at Adams County, Illinois, as a 22 year old farmer. Isaac Wilson Bartlett married Abigail Ann Potter on 12 October 1858 at Hancock County, Illinois. Isaac Wilson Bartlett appeared on the census of 1860 at Hancock County, Illinois; enumerated 12 July. The William Bartlett household was listed just before that of his son, Walter J. Bartlett. On 9 April 1901, the Bartlett homestead located NE quarter, Section 21, Durham Township, was deeded to Charles Bartlett by his father, Wiliam Bartlett. He married Lucy Jane Bartlett, daughter of Lemuel Bartlett and Jane Roseberry, on 13 September 1838 at Adams County, Illinois. Pardon Potter was converted and joined the M. E.      Evelyn Elizabeth Potter was born between 1840 and 1843 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Pardon Potter and Lucy Jane Bartlett. Evelyn Elizabeth Potter appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Pardon Potter at Adams County, Illinois, as Everline Potter age ten and had attended school within the year. Evelyn Elizabeth Potter appeared on the census of 1860 in the household of Pardon Potter at Hancock County, Illinois,as Elizabeth J. Potter age 17 and she had attended school within the year. Evelyn Elizabeth (Potter) Burr died in 1869.

William Lemuel Potter began military service when "he enlisted in Co. M., of the 12th Illinois cavalry" at the beginning of the Civil War. He ended military service; after serving for three years when "he was seriously injured by his horse, which was shot under him, falling upon him. This necessitated his retiring from the ranks." He married Susan Phidelia Lincoln on 17 February 1870 at Hancock County, Illinois. "In 1873, Mr. Potter opened a store in Durham which he conducted for two years. He then removed to Disco and engaged in business there." William Lemuel Potter and Susan Philelia (Lincoln) Potter moved between 1876 and 1878 to Kansas; with their children; Zora, Mary and William. He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Hancock County, Illinois; "under the auspices of the G.A.R."

     Susan Phidelia Lincoln was born on 21 August 1843 at Hancock County, Illinois. She married William Lemuel Potter, son of Pardon Potter and Lucy Jane Bartlett, on 17 February 1870 at Hancock County, Illinois. Susan Philelia (Lincoln) Potter and William Lemuel Potter moved between 1876 and 1878 to Kansas; with their children; Zora, Mary and William. Susan Philelia (Lincoln) Potter and William Lemuel Potter moved circa 1879 to Hancock County, Illinois; with their children; Zora, Mary, Wiliam and Nathan.      George William Hendrix was born on 24 July 1852. He married Martha Isabelle Potter, daughter of Pardon Potter and Lucy Jane Bartlett, on 17 February 1876 at Hancock County, Illinois. George William Hendrix died on 27 April 1923 at age 70. He was buried at Humboldt Cemetery, Humboldt, Richardson County, Nebraska.

     Pardon N Potter was born on 22 July 1857 at Illinois. He was the son of Pardon Potter and Lucy Jane Bartlett. Pardon N Potter appeared on the census of 1860 in the household of Pardon Potter at Hancock County, Illinois, as age three. Edward Potter moved to Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. He lived on 16 April 1914 at Kirksville, Adair County, Missouri; when his brother William died in La Harpe, Illinois.

     Curtis Duggins was born circa 1879 at Grenada County, Mississippi. He was the son of Joseph S. Duggins and Mary Louise Curtis. Curtis Duggins appeared on the census of 1880 in the household of his father, Joseph S. Duggins at Grenada County, Mississippi, as age one. Curtis Duggins suffered the death of his mother, Mary Louise "Molly" (Curtis) Duggins in 1885 at Grenada County, Mississippi. Curtis Duggins suffered the death of his father, Joseph S. Duggins on 3 August 1905 at Grenada, Grenada County, Mississippi. Curtis Duggins died between 1920 and 1930.

     Harry Melvin Davidson was born on 6 January 1915 at Washington. He lived in April 1930 at 915 Third Street, Modesto, Stanislaus County, California; in the rear of the building. Nellie M. Umbaugh and her son Kenneth and daughter Thelma lived in the front. He appeared on the census of 1930 at Stanislaus County, California; as a 15 year old lodger in the household of Joseph B. Hood. He married Thelma "Toni" Roth Umbaugh, daughter of Jonas Quinter Umbaugh and Nella "Nellie" Mae Mullen, at California. Harry Melvin Davidson and Thelma (Umbaugh) Davidson lived at 6432 Wexford Circle, Citrus Heights, Sacramento County, California. Harry Melvin Davidson was widowed with the death of Thelma (Umbaugh) Davidson on 23 July 1990 at 6432 Wexford Circle, Citrus Heights, Sacramento County, California. Harry Melvin Davidson died on 28 June 2006 at California at age 91. He was buried at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, Fair Oaks, Sacramento County, California.

     Abigail Ann Potter was born on 30 October 1840 at Hancock County, Illinois. She married Isaac Wilson Bartlett, son of Lemuel Bartlett and Jane Roseberry, on 12 October 1858 at Hancock County, Illinois. Abigail Ann (Potter) Bartlett appeared on the census of 1860 in the household of Isaac Wilson Bartlett at Hancock County, Illinois; enumerated 12 July. I.W. Bartlett was enumerated as age 32, head of household and a farmer with $3200 value in real estate and $690 value in personal estate. Abegail Bartlett was enumerated as age 20. Included in the household were Thompson Bartlett age one and Jane Bartlett age 60. Abigail Ann (Potter) Bartlett was widowed with the death of Isaac Wilson Bartlett on 3 May 1879 at Hancock County, Illinois. Abigail Bartlett married a second time on 27 October 1887 to James F. Beard. Abigail Ann (Potter) Bartlett died on 14 June 1891 at Dallas City, Hancock County, Illinois, at age 50. She was buried at Union (now Byler) Cemetery, Hancock County, Illinois.
