That would mean that Nellie, Daisy and Minnie had all died before 1900. Nellie Rue Martin died before 1900 at Wilson County, Tennessee.

     Virginia Freeland Martin was born on 27 October 1891 at Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of William B. Martin and Mildred Mary Hughes. Virginia Freeland Martin appeared on the census of 1900 in the household of her father, William B. Martin at Wilson County, Tennessee, as Jennie age eight and she had attended school for five months of the year.      Thomas Clark Carson was born on 2 April 1823 at Butler County, Kentucky. He was a prosperous farmer at Butler County, Kentucky. Thomas was married twice, and had children from both marriages. He had a son named John M. Carson from his first marriage. Thomas "was elected to the office of County Judge in 1870" and a new courthouse was built during his term of office. He married Martha "Mattie" Melvina Hughes, daughter of John Powell Hughes and Mary "Polly" Freeland, circa 1876. Thomas organized the Morgantown Deposit Bank in 1880 and was the bank president until his death.
