Elizabeth Scott was enumerated as age 24 and Mary Harris was enumerated as age 53. E J Scott was enumerated as a 20 year old male. One Scott male child was enumerated as Jas C age 5. Two Scott female children were enumerated as Mary F age 7 and Elizabeth J age 3. He was a farmer in 1870 at Madison County, Mississippi. He appeared on the census of 1870 at Madison County, Mississippi; enumerated 20 July. Alexander Scott was enumerated as the 38 year old head of household with personal estate valued at $400. Elizabeth Scott was enumerated as age 34 and keeping house. Mary Harris was enumerated as age 64 with real estate valued at $925 and personal estate valued at $230. He appeared on the census of 1900 at Leake County, Mississippi; enumerated 29 June. A C Scott was enumerated as the 68 year old head of household and he owned his farm free of mortgage. E A Scott was enumerated as his 63 year old wife and the mother of 14 children with nine children living. One son was enumerated as Linly C Scott age 19 and a farm laborer.

Jewel White was enumerated as his 21 year old wife and she supplied their information to the enumerator. They had both completed two years of college. Included in the household were Lex's 65 year old widowed mother Mollie White and his 25 year old niece Lillian Busby. He suffered the death of his mother, Mary "Mollie" Pinckney (Martin) White on 10 January 1966 at Belen, Quitman County, Mississippi.

William Lex White died on 19 August 1972 at age 68. He was buried at Belen Cemetery, Belen, Quitman County, Mississippi.

Charles Malone White died on 13 October 1907 at age 66. He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina; in Section M with an upright marker than includes the inscription: Cpl. Co K 28 Regt NC, Confederate States of America. A flat marker was later added to the family plot in Section H Lot 25.

White age 26 and grandson James White age two. Susan and Hattie were not working. Alice and Nannie were salesladies in a dry goods store. Charlie was a traveling salesman. She lived in April 1930 at 293 Hillird Street, Asheville, North Carolina; with her daughters Alice and Hattie. She appeared on the census of 1930 at Buncombe County, North Carolina; enumerated 17 April. Susian L. White was enumerated as the 80 year old widowed head of household. She owned her home valued at $7,000. Two single daughters were enumerated in the household, Hattie age 42 and Alice age 49. Hattie was not working and Alice was a saleslady for a dry goods store. One boarder was enumerated as 35 year old George Gooles/Goules, a cook for a lunch room. He was single, born in Greece and had immigrated to the U.S. in 1916.

Susan L. (Turner) White died on 21 June 1931 at 293 Hilliard Avenue, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina, at age 83; at 6:10 p.m. of cancer of the uterus. She was buried on 23 June 1931 at Riverside Cemetery, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina; under the direction of Reynolds Undertaking Company in Section H Lot 25 Grave 9.
