     Emalyn Ann Hoffman was born on 14 March 1928 in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana. She was the daughter of John Henry Hoffman and Ruth Margaret Bryant. Emalyn Ann Hoffman married William Moye Harvey on 1 July 1951 in Palm Beach County, Florida. Ann was a memberr of the Lake Worth High Class of 1946 and a lifelong booster of the Lake Worth High Trojans. She didn't hold any official title in Lake Worth but her influence was vast. She married her high school sweetheart and raised two sons. She became known as the unofficial "Den Mother" of Lake Worth High School. She drove a hugh Fleetwood Cadillac around town and lived life "pedal-to-the-metal."

Emalyn was known as a "fiesty" woman. At one of the football games a star player was knocked out of bounds on the opposing team's sidelines and the rival coach pushed him. After the game ended Emalyn went down on the football field and slyly stuck out her umbrella tripping the coach.

Emalyn Ann Hoffman died on 1 August 2016 in Florida at age 88. She was buried in South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Palm Beach County, Florida.
