     Cecil Emerson Knapp was born on 28 May 1921 at Rockford, Kent County, Michigan; the son of Albert E Knapp and Linnie Mable House. He was graduated in 1939 at Rockford, Kent County, Michigan, from Rockford High School. He married Thelma Arlene May, daughter of Elijah May and Alvenia May Terrill, on 4 September 1942 at Rockford, Kent County, Michigan; with the ceremony performed by Methodist minister J C DeVinney and witnessed by Bette Sweitzer and Vernon Tuttle. Cecil Emerson Knapp was employed by Rockford Hardware for many years in sales and repair at Rockford, Michigan. He and Thelma Arlene (May) Knapp lived between 1993 and 2002 at 4948 Castle Hill Court, Rockford, Kent County, Michigan. Cecil Emerson Knapp was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church.

     Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Berryman lived in April 1936 at Piedmont, Wayne County, Missouri. She married William N Harris, son of William Bright Harris and Sallie Dora Dubard, on 22 April 1936 at Piedmont, Wayne County, Missouri.
