Richard Henry Nason appeared on the census of 1880 at Grenada County, Mississippi; enumerated 3 June. Richard was enumerated as the head of household and a 25 year old farmer. Ada was enumerated as his 22 year old wife. Enumerated with them was a son, Richard V. age one. He was a farmer at Grenada County, Mississippi. Richard was a member of the county Board of Supervisors, where he "neither talked nor voted without examining to a proper degree the merit of the proposition." He was a Methodist and a consistent member of the Spring Hill Church. He was described as kind, honest, upright and industrious. He died on 29 March 1893 at Grenada County, Mississippi, at age 38; at his home ten miles west of Grenada, after an illness of several days. Funeral services were held at Spring Hill Methodist Church, Grenada, Grenada County, Mississippi; with "an appropriate sermon by Rev. T. J. He was "engaged extensively in farming and the mercantile business" in Grenada County. He and R. V. Nason operated the J. H. Harris & Co. furnishing business in Holcomb for many years. He also operated farms near Holcomb, near Dubard and near Belzoni. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Holcomb. While traveling from his plantation near Belzoni, Joe Harris became ill and stopped at a Greenwood hotel where he received medical treatment. He died on 28 January 1938 at Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi, at age 49; in his hotel room. His death was attributed to heart failure. He was buried on 29 January 1938 at Spring Hill Cemetery, Grenada, Grenada County, Mississippi; with graveside funeral services at 2:30, conducted by Rev. F. H. McGee, pastor of the Methodist Church of Holcomb. Garner Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Nason, daughter of Richard Henry Nason and Ada Cornelia Beard, on 3 March 1904 at Hotel South, Grenada County, Mississippi; at 6 o'clock with Rev. J. M. Wyatt officiating. Whittington Dewitte Singleton was a farmer, a cotton buyer and worked for the Y. and M. V. R. R. for eleven years at Grenada County, Mississippi. He was "a member of the Methodist Church for nearly 35 years."

While living in Belzoni, Richard Henry "was City Attorney, Steward in the Methodist Church, the Probation Officer of the County and Chairman of the City School Board." About 1935 "his health almost failed." He was employed with the Veterans Administration circa 1935 at Atlanta, Georgia.

Richard Henry Nason died on 29 September 1945 at Atlanta, Georgia, at age 52. Funeral services were held on 1 October 1945 at Methodist Church, Grenada, Grenada County, Mississippi; conducted by the Rev. John W. Moore at 2:30 o'clock. Jack Addison Yates began military service during World War II and served as a "S. Sgt." with the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Lakewood Independent Methodist Church. He was a supervisor for the Round the Clock Hosiery Division of U. S. Industries at Grenada County, Mississippi. Jack Yates was a member of the Lion's Club, having served as president and a WW II veteran.

Jack Addison Yates died on 29 January 1976 at Grenada, Grenada County, Mississippi, at age 58; at his residence on Avenue of the Pines, of an apparent heart attack. He was owner/operator of Freedom Travel at Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida, for 10 years. He lived in March 2002 at Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida. Mary Ida (Williams) Nason appeared on the census of 1900 in the household of Robert Milling Nason at Grenada County, Mississippi; enumerated 21 June. Robert M.
