     James Henry Chissom was born on 28 June 1824 in Yates County, New York. He married Cordelia Brashear Lashbrook, daughter of Samuel V Lashbrook and Martha Patricia Brashear, on 5 April 1849 at Daviess County, Kentucky, at the Methodist Epiccopal Church by A.H. Triplett.

     Viola Chissom was born in 1865 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of James Henry Chissom and Cordelia Brashear Lashbrook. Viola Chissom married Charles E.
