     Julian Howard McLellan was born on 22 December 1896 in near Rich Pond, Warren County, Kentucky. He was the son of James Brown McLellan and Nellie Frances Campbell. Julian Howard McLellan was described as medium height, medium build, with brown eyes and brown hair in June 1918. He married Ruth Geraldine Mason before 5 June 1918. Julian Howard McLellan registered for the draft for World War I on 5 June 1918, while living at Route 4, Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, reporting he was employed as a farmer.

Julian Howard McLellan died on 11 January 1936 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital, Glasgow, Barren County, Kentucky, at age 39 3:45 in the afternoon. His cause of death was cerebro-spinal meningitis.      James Claborn McLellan was born on 4 February 1901 in Warren County, Kentucky. He was the son of James Brown McLellan and Nellie Frances Campbell. James Claborn McLellan married Mattie Lulu Onan in 1921.

On the evening of 11 December 1962 James met Bryan Hendrick, who was the Warren county Dog Warden and a former magistrate, outside a tobacco warehouse in Bowling Green. They quarreled over a tobacco transaction and in the process Bryan shot James in the stomach. Bryan later turned himself into the police when he went to the jail, handed over a .32 caliber pistol, and surrendered. Bryan Hendrick was charged with murder. He was tried in September 1963 and during the trial testified that James attacked him at the warehouse entrance and that when he broke away James "came back at me like a wild man." He claimed self-defense in the shooting. The trial ended in a hung jury. He was re-tried in 1964 and found not guilty on 9 January of that year.

James Claborn McLellan died on 11 December 1962 in City Hospital, Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky, at age 61 at 11:45 in the evening. His cause of death was an abdominal hemorrhage from a gunshot wound in the abdomen when he was shot during a scuffle on a street in Bowling Green. He was buried on 13 December 1962 in Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky.

     Nellie Rufine McLellan was born on 13 February 1903 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of James Brown McLellan and Nellie Frances Campbell. Nellie Rufine McLellan married Caldwell Howlett on 10 August 1926 in Wilson County, Tennessee, by S.R. Noel.

Nellie Rufine McLellan died in November 1986 in Kentucky at age 83.

Sarah Virginia McLellan died on 30 August 2008 in Buncombe County, North Carolina, at age 91. She was buried in Christmount Columbarium, Black Mountain, Buncombe County, North Carolina, after cremation in Section 1, C-1.

Basil Brown Brashear Sr married Mary Brown, daughter of Basil Brown and Elizabeth Brashear, before 1787. Basil Brown Brashear Sr married Ann Miller before 1802. Basil was a Colonel in the 3rd Battlion of Pennyslvania Militia during the Revolutionary War and a tavern-keeper in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. Basil Brown Brashear Sr left a will on 26 June 1829 at Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.

     Ann Miller was born in 1782. She married Basil Brown Brashear Sr, son of Otho Brashear and Ruth Brown, before 1802. Ann (Miller) Brashear was widowed with the death of Basil Brown Brashear Sr in 1830 in Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.

Ann (Miller) Brashear died in 1856.

Basil and Ann celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the home of their son Professor John Brashear on Observatory Hill on 30 January 1890. An article the next day in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette called it a "Golden Wedding" and stated that Mr. Brashear wasnow seventy-two and Mrs. Brasher was seventy years of age.

     Thomas Brown Brashear was born on 13 January 1787 in Maryland. He was the son of Basil Brown Brashear Sr and Mary Brown. Thomas Brown Brashear married Maria Brashear Crow, daughter of Basil Crow and Ann Nancy Brashear, on 10 November 1818 in Attakapas, St. Mary's Parish, Louisiana.
