     George Waller Nation was born on 23 August 1839 in Ohio County, Kentucky. He married Tina Narcissa Goodwin, daughter of Amos H Goodwin and Dorcas Lashbrook, on 2 January 1859 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of James Natio and Nancy Armstron. George enlisted in the Confederate First Northeast Regiment of the Missouri Cavalry on 28 July 1862. He was captured in Macon County, Missouri on 7 August 1862 and imprisoned in the Alton Military Prison in Illinois. George and Tina had at least eight children including Amos E. Nation, Joanna Nation, John Nation, George A. Nation, Malinda Nation, Rosa J. Nation, Lucinda Nation, and Samuel Clements Nation.

George Waller Nation died on 25 January 1933 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, at age 93.

     R C Hondley married Elizabeth Marks, daughter of Elisha Smith Marks and Elizabeth Lashbrook, in 1870.

     Thomas Cicero Birkhead was born on 27 May 1930 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky. He was the son of James Cronon Birkhead and Catherine Heady. Thomas Cicero Birkhead was graduated in 1951 at Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky, with a degree from Brescia University. After graduation Tomas joined the Air Force and became a pilot. Over the coruse of a 20 year career he flew many fighter and bomber aircraft including missions in Korea and Vietnam. He received two Distinguished Flying Medals and was one of the original U2 pilots flying missions over Russia and the Middle East. His last duty station was Patrick Air Force Base.
